While out exploring Lake Simcoe, we came across this spot at Jackson’s Point and we are able to park in the transient spot at the marina next door. We were hungry and we spotted the small restaurant attached to the Ramada, so we decided to give it a try.

The server was friendly, but the food took a long time to come out, especially for a quick lunch we were the only ones there at the time. The steak sandwich was actually tasty, and the wraps were just okay. The outdoor patio area felt neglected—it could really use some care, updates, and likely a visit from a licensed electrician.

After lunch, we walked toward the lake. The location itself has a lot of potential, but the property overall felt poorly maintained. Unfortunately, there was a lot of goose droppings around, which really took away from the experience.

This place could be something special with the right attention, but it's not quite there yet

Stumbled upon this place as it wasn’t my plan during a bike ride. We decided to stay and asked to sit on the patio as weather was nice. There’s literally only 1 table inside and no customer outside. We ordered couple of fish and chips, wings and steak on a bun, all from their lunch special. Food tasted ok nothing special but not bad, service was alright, did come and check on us and was fairly prompted when ask for stuff.
Overall an OK experience, may stop by if we’re in the area.

Don’t waste your time and money here, the owner of this restaurant is the worst person I’ve ever dealt with.

I went into a contract with him for my wedding reception - this was after months of me and my wedding planner chasing him for answers, and literally a week later, he says it’s not possible anymore because he’s sold the restaurant. He gave no indication during the entire time of contract negotiation, or even leading up to signing the contract that this was happening.

I’m now less than 4 months away from my wedding, and he shows no remorse about the stress, wasted money on RSVPs, and mental burden he’s put on us.

Worst restaurant I've been to in town. Went for a birthday dinner and we were all disappointed. Ordered risotto which is a rice dish and recieved orzo which is pasta. Asked for parmesean cheese for the dish and was brought a dish of green and moldy cheese to the table. Unsure how the waiter didn't notice the fuzz on it. Was really expecting high hopes as it's a beautiful atmosphere. But food was horrible and service was bad. Waiter had blue cleaning gloves on as he was serving us. Beware of this place it looks nice but do not trust the food.

We stayed a few nights at the Ramada and had breakfasts. They were great. The service was also wonderful. We had dinner one evening and the food was perfect. I had steak and it was just as I asked. The dessert was great too.
We will come again

Went for apps and drinks. Got the bruschetta and the nacho chips and dip, not worth the money. The bruschetta was basically garlic bread with cheese and tomatoes sprinkled on it and the nacho chips and dip was literally Doritos nacho cheese chips with a bit of cheese and tomato sprinkle on it with a side bowl of sour cream and guacamole I could of made it at home a lot better For cheaper price than what we paid. Save your money.

Food is average same with the service, you go to this place to grab a 🍺 or 🍷and enjoy the view of the lake and harbor that's basically it.

Patio fills up quick around sunset time in the summer on a weekend so if you want to plan to have a drink and enjoy the sunset come early.

The restaurant recently launched new menu for breakfast. This week the promotion price is $12, and it comes with a big portion of food including ham omelette, toast, bacon instant noodles soup, and coffee! The view of the lake is epic! Definitely will visit time to time for the vibe.

Made reservations 2 nights in advance for 7 of us. July 1st. Food took over an hour to get to us. Food wasn’t cooked they way we requested it. Owners were having a separate private party for Canada Day and their food and wait staff took priority. Will never go back. Not to be treated the way we were.
