Delicious fish sandwich--real fish!--buttery and mild-flavoured, coated in a light batter the way it was meant to be and served at the right temperature! Warm without scorching the roof your mouth. A messy, delicious meal I will remember fondly. Be proud of your great eatery, Gala's Pit Stop :)

Gala’s met and exceeded expectations. The onion rings, fries and milk shakes were exceptional and we had top ups on the milk shakes which we have never been offered at other roadside vendors. The staff were professional and friendly. This will be a regular stop for us when we pass on Hwy 7. Highly recommend.

Perfect spot to stop and fill up on tour drive between Ottawa and peterborough. Would recommend ordering ahead of time as everything is cooked from fresh so it takes a bit.
Great food and the trail off the trans Canada into the back so you don’t have to drive on the pavement is great aswell
