“January 11th 2025 my partner and I went for a little brunch. For some reason we never think about this place when we are hungry… let me tell you that this has changed now! The menu has a great selection, the price of items is really fair, the service is really really good, and the food is cooked TO PERFECTION! It was so delicious!! Highly recommend you try this place if you enjoy decent portions, friendly staff and home-style cooked meals 🥰”

“We recently camped at the Provincial Park east of Kapuskasing and we were reading the park's book. There was an add for this bakery that got my attention. Luckily we were staying until the Thursday so we could go into the shop on Wednesday. We picked up some bread, donuts including cream puffs and some butter tarts. Wow, very good indeed. Highly recommend this as a stop when visiting the area.”

FANTASTIC COFFEE....GREAT VIBE....after purchasing extra bakings...a book..some Xmas presents to bring back to Ottawa, we promised to come back on our next visit.”

“Nearly the same food as when I was a kid in the 60's. The whistle dog has retired. But you can still get a root beer float. And now they have frozen root beer, root beer shakes, and other new frozen drinks.

Vegetarian options: Fantastic vege burger”

“The wings are really good, that's about all I can say that's positive there. Bought a large Hawaiian a little while back when I went to try it the pineapple was hard like a rock and the ham was super dry and tasted very nasty and not sure if it was the pizza but I was sick for 2 days after.”

“It's not a very fancy place, but the food is really tasty. The service was very good, and it was reasonably affordable. The phone was ringing off the hook when I was there, so it must be busy. I did takeout. I walked in and ordered. it was only about a 10 minute wait and I was out of there.

“Pizza was good, seemed to have pretty fresh ingredients, and is a decent price! Bonus it's tastes pretty good cold too.

Parking: It's not difficult to find parking although the parking is a bit odd being attached to a gas station it can be a bit of chaos and sometimes vehicles just park wherever.”

“The crew at Subway are always so friendly and helpful! I can always count on them for fast service especially when I am running late for work! They are always fully stocked up so no need to worry they will run out of toppings or condiments when making your order. I definitely recommend this place for a quick fresh meal!”

“I'm a truck driver, and this McDonald's was amazing. They served me as a walk up to the drive thru, and another trucker as well. Food was fresh hot and probably the best service I've had in a while. Keep up the good work during this Co-vid pandemic.”
