The Cow and Sow Reviews
Last week I had the chance to try a lb of your wings with "Grady's Ghost" sauce. I've had a lot of very spicy wings in my life and this sauce was one of the few times I've ever considered tapping out! I had tears running down my face, snot running from my nose and I LOVED every bite! Whoever is making that sauce deserves the HIGHEST of fives! Anyone who gets this should wash their hands a minimum of twice after eating them. Don't ask me how I know that! If you love HOT wings,...read full review
Our server was fantastic. Thank you Kayla.
We went to this bar after dinner, for a bachelorette party. I was one of the dds and I’m pregnant so I was completely sober.
My group was looking forward to this place and we made the best of it but after ordering 2 rounds of drinks the waitress told us she would be no longer serving the group. No reason given. The Cow and Sow is a cozy spot with a great atmosphere, perfect for celebrations. Friendly servers provide efficient service, and the food is generally delicious. Prices seem reasonable, with generous portions. The poutine has received high praise, and the in-house made burger is complemented by a gluten-free bun, though it may be a little dry. The open-faced real sliced turkey is a highlight, known for its good flavor and thick gravy. The wings and calamari are delicious appetizers, and the fish and chips are good. The beer and appetizers are enjoyable. The burger can be dry and have no seasoning, and the chicken wrap is mainly lettuce. The Beef Bourguignon was slightly dry on its own but great when mixed. The Onion Soup and the delicious Crème Brulée are available. The wings with "Grady's Ghost" sauce are very spicy and hot, a must-try for those who love heat. Overall, this restaurant is worth a visit if you're in the area, especially considering the great value and service.
