A 3 day stay at PitStop 518 was incredible. Our yurt was perfect! Wood stove for heating; power pak for boiling our kettle; and the king bed. Our hosts Jake and Jo could not have been more accommodating! We are already thinking about when we can return.

Spent a winter long weekend (3 nights) and immensely enjoyed ourselves. The ‘Hansen House’ yurt is beautifully kept, low tech with a few very key amenities like a propane minifridge and small power supply for electric kettle/charging phones. Hosts were very generous with helping us get settled in and answering questions.

My Hubby And I Just Spent The Weekend At Pit Stop 518Jo & Jacob Were Great To Work With Check In Was EasyThey Met Us And Helped Us Take Our Stuff Down To Our Yurt Ben Nevis HouseWhen We Got To Our Yurt We Did A Quick Walk Around To See Where The Outhouse Was As Well As The Picnic Table And Firepit AreaOnce We Stepped Inside It Was Amazing Like Walking Into A Little Piece Of HeavenIt Was Soo Warm And Inviting With The Woodstove Going And Candle Lit RoomWith A Charcuterie Board For Two Awaiting For Us To Relax Sit Back And Enjoy.....And That We Did...When We Finally Decided To Leave The Yurt It Was Just For A Quick Bite Down The Road At Fork On MainJacob Had Suggested We Go To The Fork On Main As They Had Live Music PlayingWe Went To Fork On Main And Said HI To AprilWhile Enjoying Some Great New Appetizers And The Music....I Must Say Those Girls Were Running It Was A Full House And They Did An Amazing Job

We stayed with our 13 year of daughter and 10 year old son and they both loved the experience as well. Our yurt was clean, cozy and very welcoming, the little accents were so cute. The amenities were great and we all enjoyed the unplugged time. We hiked around the town as well as there are many trails available. Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. We will be back for sure! Thank you again Jake and Jo!

This place is awesome, the owners are real down home family and care about the home made gourmet food and welcome hospitality..I mean get your hunger on and have it made just for you right the first time.! Prices are legit and they don't mind you asking for a meal or item cooked a specific way. They all just smile and say sure .the home made bakery goods are not store bought ,can you imagine it ! The pit master is guaranteed delightful and very happy to chat about Harley's and movies ,so go buy a coffee and a slice of pie ,enjoy the jewel of Kearney and check out the delightful treasure chest . You won't be disappointed

Went up for a couple days over the May long weekend and I couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect vacation. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable and surrounded by the most magical forest. Will be looking to book here again!!
