We love many of the menu items at the Red Canoe, and especially enjoy Wednesday wing night. However, perhaps we will switch to Thursday night. Last night, the music of Sean Cotton was great!
Highly recommend the wings, honey garlic or dry Cajun. Excellent sweet potato fries!

Red Canoe Restaurant makes an outstanding Wild Mushroom Soup!!! We had lunch there today, and between the yummy bacon grilled cheese sandwich, the homemade Wild Mushroom Soup and our pleasant waitress, we left there extremely satisfying! Always a favourite for us!

We recently celebrated our wedding at Red Canoe, and when all was said and done we were thoroughly impressed by the team’s work and effort to give us a perfect evening that went off without a hitch. Brielle was amazing to work with from the beginning stages right up to the night of, and her communication and care made planning easy and stress free. Her expertise and attention to detail were so valuable in helping us to create the experience we imagined. The service staff took care of every need and then some, and the food was incredible, and not just in our opinion as we received the same positive feedback from our guests. All in all, the venue and staff took ownership of making our wedding celebration a huge success, and it will forever be a part of our memories when we return in the future. Our thanks again to everyone involved!

Very disappointing service. We waited for 25 minutes without being served when the restaurant was barely half full. Wanted to order breakfast but ended up only getting 2 coffees to go, we asked one of the servers if she could take our order twice and it seemed she was going out of her way to avoid us and serve every other table except for ours. Unfortunately it was the only restaurant open nearby, disappointing start to our morning.
we went for breakfast, no options for non-pork eaters other than "no meat". got eggs Benedict, sauce was clearly from a package even though it only takes about 5 minutes to make from scratch fresh sauce. hashbrowns were way over cooked. the omelet we got came with 2 slices of toast cut in half, one piece of which was not even toasted. not sure how they managed that. it was like the server forgot we were there even though it was far from busy. people who came in after us got their order taken and their food before we did. as a local person I am definitely not going back.

This was a great place to visit for food, beverage and live music on a Thursday night. Food was decent and the service was fantastic. A bunch of us ATV riders frequent this establishment for breakfast before the trails and sometimes supper after.
