My husband and I were traveling to Osgoode to see our son and his family. We traveled from Midland, Ontario.It was getting close to dinner time and we hadn't planned on being at our sons until after dinner. I googled restaurants, and came across this pub. Brisket was on the menu. We were sold.As we punched the address into our GPS, we heading straight there. It was the absolute best decision we made.Upon entering the establishment, we were greeted by a lovely young lady. She was very polite and helpful. We had a pleasant conversation with her as we ordered our beverages and meal. Before long, our drinks and then our meal was before us. The coleslaw was phenomenal. My husband couldn't stop talking about it all weekend. The fries, fresh and crisp. But the brisket, was so very juicy and tender.As I sit here writing this, my mouth is watering. But alas, they're 5 hours away.We visit our son and his family on a regular basis. We will be back. This will be a regular stop on our trips to Osgood. We've told everyone we could about this devine little pub. We give you 10/10. Absolutely astounding atmosphere and the most mouth watering brisket we've ever had.Nicole

Been here a few times now, just absolutely delicious food.Haven't had a single thing on the menu that I didn't like. I've also been to similar restaurants where while the food is good, you leave a bit hungry. Not the case here, good serving sizesTry the brisket burger, you won't be disappointed

One of, if not the best restaurant in the Ottawa area. I have had both the ribs as well as the brisket. The food is amazing and service was quite friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Kemptville or the Ottawa valley.Parking: Slightly hidden to the right of the building

A few weeks ago four of us went for dinner on a Saturday evening. The service was great and food was so good!We were interested in some of the smoking techniques and the server was happy to explain which my bf thought was cool.We had a few twinkies, brisket and pulled pork and everything was great. We’ll def be back.

We were 12 people. The mac and cheese were cold. The beans were cold. How does that get cold? Except every time the door opens perhaps. Meat was dry. Brisket and ribs. Dry dry dry. Very disappointing.
My wife and I recently dined at Hyde Steakhouse & Bar with a group of friends and the experience was nothing short of amazing.The ribs came highly recommended and for good reason, from the moment I took my first bite I couldn't help but exclaim "wow" out loud. The ribs were hands down the best I've ever tasted, ordering half a rack was a big mistake as I could have eaten more. Coming from Ottawa, I made it a point to try a variety of dishes, and I was consistently blown away by the excellence of everything – from the flavorful wings to the mouthwatering brisket and cornbread too, a must have with their maple butter! Everything is was perfect and I’m sure to try more things on our next visit.Without a doubt we’ll be returning to Hyde Steakhouse and I highly recommend it for an exceptional culinary experience!
