Nakhon Thai Kemptville

I tried the “all you can eat” lunch option today, so I was able to try a few of the menu items. Some were good, others not. I have tried many many Thai restaurants in Ottawa, and this one does not taste up to par. The fresh rolls (summer rolls) just have iceberg lettuce, shredded carrot, noodles and chicken. No basil, or cilantro in it. They needed some herbs. The Tom kha soup was grey like a mushroom soup. Didn’t taste any galangal, lime leaf, lime or lemongrass in it. Had a few of the cheese wontons, there was hardly any filling and they were very hard.
The service was very friendly, and they do have a good yellow curry. The coconut rice was very flavourful, but a bit gummy.
Overall I wouldn’t go back, as there are many better options. But if you’re not too picky this place is ok. The food is fresh and service is good.

What a gem of a find! This family-owned Thai restaurant is a true delight. The food bursts with authentic flavors, and every dish is prepared with so much care. The appetizers are absolutely delicious ,the kind you can’t stop thinking about after you leave. A real standout is their unique tea, moriga, which adds such a refreshing and distinctive touch to the menu. Warm service, cozy atmosphere, and fantastic food make this place a spot worth returning to again

Wide variety of choices on the menu. Thai fusion at its best, something for everyone, not all spicy food. They have THE BEST pad Thai I’ve ever had, just the right amount of salty and peanut with noodles perfectly done.

The owner, Tana, is lovely and outgoing. Such a kind and personable owner who makes her guests feel right at home.

My favourite restaurant in Kemptville! It’s been years since I’m client, I went to dine on Preston Street in little Italy Ottawa. Tan was inviting us in her restaurant. Went also on their fist location in Kemptville. Even during the pandemic, it was a treat to get this fabulous food at home. I had eaten at your restaurant in Brockville too. My big favourite dish is the Tom Kha Chicken soup! Yummy! Also the mango salad. Love your new decor in Kemptville. Above all I enjoyed your new all you can eat buffet for lunch on Friday and Saturday. Thanks for the good food and good service. Hope to be able to try your new restaurant in Morrisburg. Fabulous dinner, We sampled the menu tonight. Mango Salad w/added Salmon, delicious, asked for hot sauce, it was flavourful with a nice heat. Curried vegetables with side rice. lovely. Wonton soup delicious, as were the crispy wonton. Fried rice with chicken very nice.

We tried to call ahead and ended up being put on hold for 12 minutes. When we tried to call back they sent us straight to voice mail several times. Horrible service we will not be back

Had a lovely supper with a friend! The flavour was amazing and the portions filled me up.
Our server was so lovely and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend getting your Thai craving food from this lovely restaurant!
