We hadn't been to Nakhon Thai for a few years after a pretty big drop in quality and speed after expanding into Brockville. We gave it another go, and were very pleasantly surprised. The menu has been simplified, the service and speed is excellent (the restaurant was full when we went), and the food was delicious. Drunken noodles for me, a pho for my partner, and we shared the shrimp tempura as a starter. We wouldn't get the starter again, there was nothing wrong with it, just not a lot of flavour. The mains were excellent; good portion, great spice, all kinds of good stuff vs. filler, and totally satisfying. Great experience, and we're happy we gave it a try again; we've missed it.

I got the stir-fry with peanut sauce today which cost me a whopping 30 bucks. For this price I received humongous chunks of raw vegetables, mainly onion, some dry boiled chicken and peanut sauce that was really just sewage water. After biting into a quarter of an onion, like the grinch himself I chose to no longer torture myself with this meal. Below pictured is a portion of the onion that I spat out. 0/5 stars.

Drunken noodles were so good! Fast service and lovely staff! The price is a lot 20$ for one meal! If it was a little cheaper I’d be here every night!

I had heard good things about Nakhon Thai and decided to grab some pad Thai and spring rolls, with a side of rice, to go with the Thai food I made at home for dinner. This picture cost me $49. The pad Thai tasted like nothing, to the point no one even ended up eating it after the first mouthful. The spring rolls tasted like oil to me, but my kids like it.Overall, it was disappointing and expensive. Sadly, we won't be back
