Hot day outside so we chose to sit inside. It was a tad bit on the warm side inside, we would have liked it a bit cooler.
There was live music this evening outside on the patio which was very enjoyable and could be heard even sitting inside.
We didn't have to wait to be seated and we received our drinks quickly but the food took about 35 minutes which was a bit long, mind you there were very busy.
Portions were large and food was delicious. Service was great, Kaylee was very kind and attentive.
We recommend this restaurant.

The food is amazing but gave us too many french fries. They have a kids menu.

Unfortunately the food we had here was quite poor and bland, lacking flavour and not cooked properly. Our appetizer was undercooked as were my fries. The sandwich I had completely fell apart as I was eating it.
Service was alright. The vibe of the restaurant is lovely but unfortunately for the cost/quality, we will be dining elsewhere.

Excellent fish and chips! Crispy and cooked to perfection.I see others have commented that it was greasy but were there 3 weeks ago for dinner and they were wonderful. The fish tacos are awesome and the Jambalaya was delicious. The service was good and we will be returning.

I must say that we've discovered a little gem in Kemptville. The service was top notch .. thank you Joel. The food was delicious. We even grabbed dessert to go. Everything is made from scratch by Liane, the owner. We will definitely be back.

Cute little restaurant with a decent selection on the menu. My husband had the steak and salad and it was quite good. The greens were crisp and the goat cheese tasty. I had the fish and sweet potato fries and was sadly disappointed. The beer batter was still doughy in areas, unseasoned and very greasy. Sweet potato fries were also greasy and overcooked. Moral of the story, skip the fish and chips and try one of the salad options.

Ok first off. Most of the reviews on here are from locals who don’t know any better. If you are from a major city or enjoy fine food. Do not go here.
The patio is decent, nothing bad about that so sit outside if you have to go here. The service is slow and actually kinda rude, almost like they were not taught manners or even customer service.
The food is just terrible. So greasy and tasteless it’s just very disappointing. Soup was bland and maybe even came from a can.
A meal for 2 with no alcohol was $75 with tip. That’s crazy considering it’s basically greasy slop. You’re better off going to the A&W a few minutes away.
I was hoping for a small town friendly restaurant. It’s not that at all.

We visited this restaurant on Father’s Day, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The food was overly greasy, and we were served what looked like a 20oz drink despite requesting a 12oz. When we asked about it, the staff insisted it was a 20oz, though I honestly believe it wasn’t. Additionally, the staff seemed quite unpleasant and gave the impression they didn’t want to be there. Overall, it wasn’t the kind of service or quality we hoped for on a special occasion.
This afternoon, I visited the local restaurant Salamanders with my children. It turned out to be a very cozy place with delicious food. The decor of the restaurant is a pleasant bonus for visitors. Just wanted to share it with you.

Loved it! Food and service was excellent. We were seated on the patio which is quite beautiful by the water.
Smelled disgusting like dirty rags and feet in there. Worst service ever it took almost 1hr for them to ask what we wanted when it was a Monday! It wasn’t even busy and they still took so long. Food was disappointing and disgusting aswell yuck worst restaurant ever and they barely have any options other than like fish and chips which is what I got it was a dirty plate with stains all over it and my water was yellowish with black floating stuff and tasted like chlorine also no parking
