Our server , a young man, was excellent. No problems there. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. The bun was soggy and the pork was tasteless.

I have a hard time giving this place 4 or 5 stars. The food is good.. ish. I can always find something to improve on any dish I get when I come here though.
Prices I would say are slightly higher than they should be (for the most part) I don't want to say gouging but it comes to mind when I see a 15$ salad that should be 9-10 with a 7$ breast add on.. that should probably be around the 5 dollar mark considering the portions. Drinks aren't competitive either. They cater to a more refined crowd (old people).
So if your old, have lots of retirement money and want to pay 30 dollars for a 25 dollar meal here's the spot for you.
Id like to try a main but for some reason you can't get their supper meals at lunch... youre in kemptville.. this is not the city... ill come for supper and try one of your 30 dollar plates for 40 bucks and see if it's any more or less worth the money someday if your still in business.
I will say I found one meal that was somewhat worth the money the sandwich was good.. soup was supposed to be creamy it was not, and the broth was kind of flavorless.
Love to come by sometime and show you how to make a creamy soup.. maybe I could help you with the menu and your prices I just feel there's a lot of work to be done here.

Lovely location and music but when I told them my pina colada tasted like straight coconut oil I was told “well it was the bottom of the mixture” and that was it… expecting a remake or the offer of a completely new drink. Sadly ended up leaving with 75% of the drink still sitting there, definitely sober and still kinda hungry.

Hot day outside so we chose to sit inside. It was a tad bit on the warm side inside, we would have liked it a bit cooler. There was live music this evening outside on the patio which was very enjoyable and could be heard even sitting inside. We didn't have to wait to be seated and we received our drinks quickly but the food took about 35 minutes which was a bit long, mind you there were very busy. Portions were large and food was delicious. Service was great, Kaylee was very kind and attentive. We recommend this restaurant.
