Manager Austin served me at the counter and was so friendly! Our interaction felt natural and familiar šŸ˜‡šŸ˜Œ

Ty made my very specific caramel macchiato ā˜•ļø and he served it with a SMILE 😃 Felt like royalty when he called me Queen! šŸ‘‘

As a 10+ year partner I can say this location successfully nailed what Starbucks is supposed to be.

Sure, the front register was friendly and got my 5 drink order right. Yeah, their bar stars were working in routine keeping wait times low. Cafe was tidy.

But though they were busy, Ally (a 3 year veteran) leaned over and offered to make my nephew a special kids hot chocolate for his birthday.

I can always find some things to pick on, but there are very few sins a good customer connection and a little surprise and delight won't cover.

We went on a Sunday after church and the staff here were lovely . Clearly very busy but still took the time to tell us when they were out of something and offer us replacements. They even gave our birthday kid a free treat which was a pleasant surprise. Overall great experience.

Between my husband and I, we spend over $1,500 a month at Starbucks, and the Kemptville location used to be our favorite. It was convenient for our trips to Ottawa, and the staff used to be friendly — they knew our names, our usual orders, even recognized our car. But after what happened recently, I will never return.

A new staff member was shockingly rude. She gave me a dirty look and spoke to me in a harsh, almost yelling tone over a simple misunderstanding. I had repeated my usual order from the day before and didn’t realize my banana loaf had been marked ā€œwarmed.ā€ A small mistake like that certainly didn’t deserve the tone and attitude I received — especially as a long-time, loyal customer.

What happened next was even more upsetting. I had briefly left my baby and my 10-year-old in our parked car, right outside the store with all four windows down, while I brought my toddler inside to place our order and wait for my husband, who was at the bank nearby. That same staff member called the police on me — without ever speaking to me — accusing me of leaving my children unattended. There were hardly any customers in the store, and she had clearly seen me arrive. There’s no way she didn’t know that was my car.

The police came to our home, and when they couldn’t find us, they had to follow up in Ottawa. I was shocked, embarrassed, and deeply hurt. I was inside the store the entire time, within eyesight of the car. After I explained everything to the officers, they understood immediately that there was no issue.

Two days later, I’m still shaken. I feel disrespected, profiled, and incredibly disappointed. The way this was handled felt not only excessive, but racially biased. It’s disturbing to think that a regular customer — or any customer — could be treated this way.

I’m also a business owner, and I would never tolerate this kind of treatment toward my clients. I will be seeking legal advice, because this experience was unacceptable on every level.

I go to the Starbucks daily and unfortunately even though I ordered the same drink it is never made the same way. Today I experienced something even more frustrating. I went to the Starbucks on my usual time of 6:00 a.m. and I stood there waiting 5 minutes for my drink and food before being told that they can't make it because they've opened the store late and I would have to wait at least another 10 minutes to be able to get my order. So I had to go back to my vehicle to get my phone to be refunded. Establishment like this should not open 35 minutes late or accept online orders when they can't make them. Not that is a huge deal but I do get off the highway to drive here and then need to drive back to the highway.

I stopped in at the Starbucks on Wellington Road in Kemptville on a Saturday around lunchtime, and I was seriously impressed. Despite it being a busy time of day, the service was fast, efficient, and incredibly friendly. The staff greeted us with smiles and had our drinks ready in no time.

We ordered an iced coffee and an iced matcha latte—both were perfectly made. The iced coffee was smooth and refreshing with just the right amount of richness, and the iced matcha had that creamy, earthy balance that’s sometimes hard to get right. You could tell care went into making each drink.

The cafĆ© itself was spotless. The counters were clean, tables were wiped down, and the overall space felt inviting and well-maintained. It was a great place to take a short break during our day, and I’d absolutely come back again if I’m in the area. Highly recommend this location!

Can I just say today was mine and my twin sisters birthday we went to Starbucks in kemptville and we had the greatest service ever my twins sisters Starbucks account wasn’t showing the birthday thing on. It but the lady who was serving us helped my sister with it not only that but the lady I forget her name but she was supper lovely my twin has a disability we’re it’s hard for her to somethings function properly when she’s under stress and gets very stressed so the help the lady helped my sister with was supper appreciated thank you Starbucks and the cashier lady for making me and my twins birthday special and I’m happy there’s still good people with great customer service out there

Always wonderful service! Ordered a tall white mocha with blonde espresso (delicious) the staff understood I needed the caffeine on a Monday and provided me with the grande at the price of a tall :) made my whole day
