Impolite staff, where we went to book our tickets for cruise, does not have patience to brief people about the services kenora has, especially who are visiting for the first time. Its good to see good people who can realy offer what their job duties says. Deeply disappointed, openly racists to coloured people, trip was great, and staff at cruise was great but the lady who book tickets does not deserve to be in that place

During mid-July to early September, I traveled throughout Canada on an extended road trip. This cruise on Lake of the Woods was one of the highlights of my trip.
As someone who lives in southern Ontario, I had no idea how beautiful Kenora and the surrounding areas are. If you enjoy nature and/or boat rides, then I would highly recommend this cruise.

I love the trip, I come here often. However, today, the lady checking people in as we were boarding was very racist to every colored person. She was neutral, while lackluster customer service to white people, she was exceptionally rude to the Indian group before me and rudely snapped at the Asian group behind me.

We had a great experience. Went to Kenora for a day trip and spent 2 hrs on this cruise. Saw some eagles too!
I definitely recommend standing in line as soon as you get there, seeing as later groups may not have a great view from the lower levels.
The cruise it self is great fun way to spend a few hours seeing the sites on Lake of the Woods. I was told the food on board was fantastic well they call themselves a restraint and in the past I have had some fine good food onbord but they have no idea how to make a salad it was not much more than lettuce and some cranberries and 4 slices of apple. The lettuce was not crisp but limp not fresh so I don't recommend that for a light lunch. They serve beer on the boat washrooms on the bottom deck each all stairs a real challenge for a sienior no access for a handi cap person there should be facilities available to every one..other than that the people were great service was fast a great time

The booking process is streamlined, the staff is friendly and does a great job serving everyone. The upper deck gets filled up fast, it’ll be worth it to have seats assigned during booking. The main deck is great. However, the lower deck is not worth it.
