Amazing place our favourite restaurant ever. Service is always so fast and kind, the server is the sweetest ever. Food never misses and is always amazing, so fresh and our favourite sushi from anywhere. Would definitely recommend.

Had an okay experience here when we stopped by for sushi during a trip to Kenora. Was dining with 3 other friends and 2 wanted to do all you can eat so we had to be split into 2 separate tables. We didn’t mind this because we understood that for the 2 that were ordering a la carte, we couldn’t be at the same table as the 2 doing AYCE.
My tuna maki and caterpillar rolls were great and the milk tea was nice and refreshing! My 2 friends that were doing AYCE noticed that their rolls were stuffed with extra rice inside the roll. My rolls (without doing AYCE) were normal sized with regard to the inside of the roll versus the amount of rice.
My 2 friends who did AYCE also noted that the fish on top of their rolls were SO thin that it was basically like a sheet of paper. Looking at other people’s reviews of this restaurant, I can also see similar roll proportions, many of the rolls seem to have extra rice inside of the roll.
The taste of the sushi was excellent, service was prompt, however it seemed a little suspicious that they would add extra rice into AYCE rolls. I’ve had many experience at sushi places and never noted extra rice inside of rolls so this put a damper on our dining experience.
Additionally their bathroom is located down in the basement with tiny stairs going down, it looked so dark and sketchy, was a little scared going down there!

This is the best sushi I’ve ever had! Everything was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, and the rice was perfectly seasoned. The chef clearly puts a lot of care and skill into every piece. I’ve had sushi in many places, but this one truly stands out. Highly recommended!
I rarely leave reviews, but this place deserves one! Hands down the best sunomono salad we've had after visiting hundreds of sushi spots across North America and beyond. The rolls were tight, beautiful, and full of flavor thoughtful touches throughout. The boba tea was presented perfectly, with both tapioca and jelly! And the brown sugar rice cakes? Fun and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

I always have such a wonderful experience at Sushi 251, the waitress always has a smile on her face and is so kind. The rest of the staff is so professional and busy all night. I’ve gotten take out and dine in (usually once a week) and it’s always been the most amazing quality as you’re greeted with a smile! I 100% recommend.

We found this place kind of by accident, and it was a very happy accident! We really enjoyed our sushi, it was fresh and delicious, and the staff were very nice. They were knowledgeable about which items were vegan as well.
