The young lady (owner) that served us is so sweet. Food is awesome and not expensive. I highly recommend if you are in the area stop in, you won't be disappointed.

Was visiting from Toronto and stopped in for sushi. Open late so that was great. Food was pretty decent and would say good given there are limited options in Kenora and especially for something like sushi. Would go back. Service was great.

If you are craving sushi don't hesitate as we have been truly impressed with the multiple options we have ordered from Sushi 251.
We figured small town NWO.. didn't expect much but tried it anyway.. and happy we did!

Amazing place our favourite restaurant ever. Service is always so fast and kind, the server is the sweetest ever. Food never misses and is always amazing, so fresh and our favourite sushi from anywhere. Would definitely recommend.

Had an okay experience here when we stopped by for sushi during a trip to Kenora. Was dining with 3 other friends and 2 wanted to do all you can eat so we had to be split into 2 separate tables. We didn’t mind this because we understood that for the 2 that were ordering a la carte, we couldn’t be at the same table as the 2 doing AYCE.
My tuna maki and caterpillar rolls were great and the milk tea was nice and refreshing! My 2 friends that were doing AYCE noticed that their rolls were stuffed with extra rice inside the roll. My rolls (without doing AYCE) were normal sized with regard to the inside of the roll versus the amount of rice.
My 2 friends who did AYCE also noted that the fish on top of their rolls were SO thin that it was basically like a sheet of paper. Looking at other people’s reviews of this restaurant, I can also see similar roll proportions, many of the rolls seem to have extra rice inside of the roll.
The taste of the sushi was excellent, service was prompt, however it seemed a little suspicious that they would add extra rice into AYCE rolls. I’ve had many experience at sushi places and never noted extra rice inside of rolls so this put a damper on our dining experience.
Additionally their bathroom is located down in the basement with tiny stairs going down, it looked so dark and sketchy, was a little scared going down there!
