Stopped there today, as we have many times before. Stood at the window, shelf littered with last person’s fries. Nobody at the window. Looked in after saying hello. Employee on his phone, oblivious to anyone waiting to order.
Great place to get fries. Cash is king

Didn't go. Drove by and was prompted for review. I will always support things like chip trucks over fast food chains. Go to this one!
Since I was a very small girl in the early 60's, this chip truck has been a regular summer feature in Kenora whenever I would spend vacations at our family cottage. We always looked forward to gobbling up these perfect potato morsels then...and we still do now! In fact, the original truck is still in use today with the chips as delectable as ever they were. This summer our server was a young man...a summer student, as they often are...a friendly, polite fella who rustled up our deep fried delicacies in the wink of an eye. A Kenora street food not to be missed!! Chef's kiss!!! 💋

Great fries, served hot with a choice of regular or market vinegar. It's a must stop when we come to Dryden, ON.

I came across a food truck while passing through this small town and grabbed a poutine. The fries were super crispy, and the gravy and cheese were just perfect. It wasn’t the traditional kind, but it was the perfect way to kick off my Ontario trip.

The finest fries I have tasted. Absolutely the best, or even the greatest.
Only 1 place you can get that unique taste Kenora, Ontario in front of The Market Square.

My only big disappointment is they used to sell their fries without the skin on. Which is why I loved them so much. Now they have the skin on them. Not a fan.

Great fries. We always get them with salt and vinegar and make sure to stop in Kenora when passing by for them (if they are open). There are 3 locations now in Kenora and they seem to have different hours for each one so make sure to check before you go.
Unfortunately, my experience was a letdown. The fries were soggy and limp, and the oil seemed old and stale. Given my high expectations, I was disappointed by the subpar quality. With a little more attention to detail in the kitchen, this place could elevate their offerings. As it stands, I wouldn't rush back.
