My second time visiting this location. Unfortunately I do not live closer and can only visit when making cross country trips. The fries are amazing, this time I asked for a bit less vinegar as they put it and the salt on for you. If I lived in Kenora this would at least be a weekly visit for me.
Since I was a very small girl in the early 60's, this chip truck has been a regular summer feature in Kenora whenever I would spend vacations at our family cottage. We always looked forward to gobbling up these perfect potato morsels then...and we still do now! In fact, the original truck is still in use today with the chips as delectable as ever they were. This summer our server was a young man...a summer student, as they often are...a friendly, polite fella who rustled...
I came across a food truck while passing through this small town and grabbed a poutine. The fries were super crispy, and the gravy and cheese were just perfect. It wasn’t the traditional kind, but it was the perfect way to kick off my Ontario trip.
