Neat place with friendly staff. We split a family sized poutine and it was absolutely loaded with cheese and gravy throughout the thick hand cut fries, amazing and huge!! The chicken Caesar wrap was also excellent with lots of cold shredded white chicken. No washrooms, just the trees. Highly recommended!
Came by after a canoe trip for a late lunch. The fries were crispy and plentiful. Ordered the chicken Cesar wrap, fried pickles and a regular poutine with extra curds with a plain burger patty for the dog. The portions were huge so great bang for your buck. Friendly staff with prompt service and a nice covered place to sit and eat before hitting the road again.
It was hard to decide on a rating for this one. The staff were very friendly and seemed like decent people just trying to scrap together a living so that was a big plus. The fries and sausage were decent. The fish however was a big letdown. It was mushy, and not the best quality. That’s hard to accept in an area known for fresh fish. The portions were large though so it’s a bit of a mixed bag. The place seemed to have many regulars so my advice would just be avoid the fish...
