Nice setting beside water channel in Killarney town. Can sit in or outside. Can be busy.
Can buy both freshly fried fish or also buy frozen or fresh fish.
Prices can be quite high…
Quality not consistent. Some pieces can be nicely golden but some pieces were overly brown…
We stopped here for lunch on a North Channel boat tour to Killarney. We were excited to hear that they were serving pickerel. It was, hands down, the worst pickerel and chips we have ever had. The filets were so thin and overcooked that they were dry and rubbery. The Chips were undercooked and soggy. Other folks on the tour had fish and chips at the Sportsman Inn and sounds like theirs was a lot better. Wish we had made a different choice.
Don't waste your money. We order 4 fish pieces and chips and a poutine. All the fires were undercooked. The poutine had like 10 cheese curds, and the gravy was just on the bottom. The fish look like they sliced it in half !! For the price you would expect to get much better food. Also there was only one staff member that didn't have a sour face, it was a young teenager girl. The older man and two women had sour faces and looking at us the whole time we were eating . Save your money and time
Great fish and chips and the onion rings were good too.
Expensive.....I was going there every year since 2011. Bigger building, less food, more money. That about sums it up.
I liked the fish and chips, to eat there is a good option if you are in city.
yummy fish and chips with beautiful patio right on the water and friendly service

Best place to stop at after a trip around Phillip Edward Island. Served us a mix of lake trout and white fish. Impressed with how fresh it was. Ended up buying some whitefish fillets to have when we got home. They even gave us ice to are the fish stayed cool on the drive home. Could not ask for better food and service.
Nothing beats fresh fish from the lake with a Nice big helping of chips well worth a stop by if you are in the area

Yummy fish and chips. Service was fast and the lady working there was kind. It was about $30 for the adult meal, but it was such a big portion and I felt so stuffed after (probably didn't need to get the adult meal). Their fish was locally caught pickerel which is delicious. Service was fast and efficient. I give the food a 4/5 because I prefer a more crispy batter, but that's just personal preference. I would come back again when I'm in the area.

Bar none the best fish and chips anywhere! The batter is perfect too, nice and light and doesn't overwhelm the flavour of the fish! Fish is always super fresh as well as it comes in right off the dock. It is a little on the pricey side, but you pay for freshness and quality. Adult meal is plenty filling as well, comes with a good serving of fries and coleslaw.

We visited this fish restaurant for lunch today, drawn in by the glowing reviews. Upon arrival around 2:30 PM, we were surprised to find the place nearly empty, with no one at the counter. This unusual quietness raised some eyebrows!
Despite the lack of a bustling atmosphere, the staff was friendly and welcoming. While we enjoyed our meal, we were hoping for a wider variety of dishes and a more vibrant dining experience.
Overall, it was a pleasant visit, and we appreciate the quality of the food.

A fun and delicious tradition to get fish and chips after camping at Killarney. Prices go up but it's expected, the fish is fresh and I think it's worth it. 4 pieces and chipa was plenty for me and my cuz.
Most times we go (sept/Aug) it's a bit windy and not super busy. I usually have a dog with me so we eat outside on the picnic tables. Hold on to your napkins and plates, we've had the wind blow things away.
Service is great and they have stainless steel bowls for dogs ,just ask nicely for water. Looking forward to next year! All the best to their business.

Lady taking order was rude and impatient. It was expensive for what it was. Poutine only comes in the one size. Chicken tenders are crazy expensive. $14 dollars for 4 chicken nuggets.
The line inside felt packed and hectic, especially as the serves are constantly trying to reach for supplies along where the line is.
