I have been to Akima House multiple times for in-house dining and pick-up to take for lunch or dinner. Every time it is delicious, fresh, and still steaming. The specialty rolls are gigantic and when you order a party tray, you have enough for 3 meals! Service is always excellent, Mia in particular is always friendly and attentive. This is still my favourite place to eat in the area.

If you are looking for sushi in the Grey/Bruce area this is absolutely the number one spot! I’ve eaten here many times for both lunch and dinner and every single time it is a beautiful atmosphere, incredible service and absolutely delicious food! My family and I all agree that this is our go to for special occasions! This place just goes over the top with not only the previously mentioned but the way they create your dinner into artwork and back it up with flavour and quality! I know I’ve mentioned it earlier but the staff are incredible… Just had to say it multiple times! I don’t give five stars out lightly and I have been to some pretty notable restaurants but with regards to sushi in this area, it is number one! We will definitely be back… again and again!

Actually, in my opinion it's one of the best asian food restaurants in the whole area. We always stopping there to have a lunch and meals are always in perfect quality and performance.
We had an excellent meal here. The atmosphere was lovely and authentic. Our Maki was a meal in itself and I had to help with my wife’s beef teriyaki. I had the Korean Short Ribs. The food was tasty and plentiful. The service was very pleasant and a lovely time was had by us. This would make a lovely romantic spot for supper. Highly recommend. We spent about $100

The food is always great, so tasty and great portion sizes! But what sets Akima house apart is that the service is just excellent! We dined there on Saturday for dinner and I goofed and forgot my leftovers at the table. As we were pulling out of our parking spot a staff member came running out with my leftovers for me! They did not have to do this but it was such a kind and appreciated gesture!

Went for my birthday. Living in the area for 5 years and never realized Akima house was this close and this good. Great service and amazing food. Sashimi were thick slices, everything was super flavourful. Definitely will be returning.
