We went to bar down for a dinner with some extended family friends and our youngest son, every single server and staff that saw our little one was beyond welcoming and friendly, made him smile, laugh and even gave him hugs. We’ve been to other establishments in kincardine and not all are as child welcoming, and child friendly as the bar down. It’s nice to know that you have an establishment that you can take a family of all ages and everyone can enjoy it for various reasons this place is and should be recognized as one of the best places in our town for food and for service.

Service was good. Beer was nice and cold. $23 burger (no cheese or bacon) was less than 1/2 thick and a huge letdown. I would have taken any fast food burger for half the price over this. Wings were pretty good.

We ordered take out this evening and it was absolutely delicious , I definitely recommend the cashew chicken stir fry if you are looking for something tasty and delicious, and the chicken wings are always a hit. Great food

I went to Bar Down in July and I love having French Onion Soup. I have had a lot of that soup at many restaurants and I have to say, Bar Down has thee best French Onion Soup I've ever had. Best in Ontario. I will be back next month for more!!!
This place is absolutely amazing! We are visiting from 7 hours away and this reminded me of home! The building is very spacious with lots of seating. The staff all super friendly and seem like they actually love their jobs there!! Our main girl was Jamie! We got some of their specialty drinks! Highly recommend the Lake Huron Lemonade!
To eat, we got the spinach dip to start (could use more spinach), bar down burrito (added bell pepper), the shaved steak sandwich and some wings to go! Overall experience 8.7/10!

Dietary restrictions: Wanted the guacamole but it had street corn and she said they'd happily put it on the side for my hubby to enjoy as I can't eat corn. Very helpful.
