The atmosphere was lovely, a real small town everybody knows everybody type of vibe. I got eggs, bacon and homefries, everything was lacking flavor unfortunately. The waitress we got looked like she just rolled out of bed and rarely checked on us, our table was filthy with a lot of coffee stains and crumbs but there was no other tables available and the waitress didn't wipe it when pointed out. The energy of the restaurant was great, but other aspects could use some improvement.

I'm thankful that downtown Kincardine has a breakfast/brunch restaurant.

The food was good, however I felt the server was overworked, and with only one cook and a nearly full restaurant, our wait time for a simple breakfast was over forty minutes.

I will continue to support Watercress, but hope they can address these issues.

Arriving fashionably late only to discover they were still happily serving us with a smile - now that's what I call some top-notch hospitality! Despite our tardiness, they whipped us up a piping hot Americano and a cozy cup of tea to savor. Talk about elegance in service! It's moments like these that remind you of the joys of straying from the usual and discovering hidden gems that truly know how to pamper their guests. Here's to being late and still getting treated like royalty! Cheers!

Service is a little slow but it is understandable as they are small. Good food.

This is our go-to breakfast place. We just love that we can eat a variety of classic breakfast foods prepared fresh to order. The owners are awesome people, so friendly.

Oh my, great eggs ham benedict with home fries. Very hot! Hubby had the "best western sandwich I've ever had!" And he's had a few!

Watercress Bistro in Kincardine exceeded my expectations! The atmosphere was charming, and the service was outstanding. I had the soup and a BLT, both of which were absolutely amazing. The soup was rich and flavorful, and the BLT was perfectly crisp and delicious. Highly recommend this gem for a delightful dining experience!

Food is good, great fries and home fries-but the wait time is always absurd. We were not offered kids menu (not sure if they have one). We waited 1h to get our food (in a half full restaurant), and many items were forgotten. In this 1h the wait staff did not bring our ordered drinks (a water, soda, and a coffee)-I had to get up and ask for the drinks and cutlery. A couple items (such as gravy) were missing from our order, and we had to ask for the cutlery again. Overall, not worth the experience.

Great location in downtown. The coffee was pretty good, breakfast was decent. Our server didn’t come back to check on us once we had our meals but was polite and friendly.

Lickety split

The owner of the former Watercress sold it to the owner of Ashanti Coffee and it’s a horrible place. It took more than 20 minutes before being acknowledged and the item I wanted wasn’t available. I’m not the only one disappointed in this place.
