Lamb chops were incredible. The server was attentive, kind and always available. The atmosphere was gorgeous. Perfect location for any occasion, but a delight for any holiday party. Will definitely return

Great service, atmosphere and decor but the food we ordered was sadly underwhelming. We ordered fried calamari and shrimp for our first course which was overcooked and lacked in presentation. For our second course we ordered duck confit and lamb shank. Both second courses were a little disappointing. For dessert one of us tried the crème brûlée and we could not taste the Grand Marnier.

Parking: The street parking early evening was already taken but found parking at at the community centre and walked to the restaurant.

10/10 experience. We hosted our son’s baptism here and the staff, service, and food exceeded all of our expectations. It was such a beautiful event with our family all thanks to Anna & the staff at Hogan’s!

I have hosted/recommended Hogans for many years now. This place is incredible! The location is great! The staff is amazing. Anna goes above and beyond to take care of anything you need. The best place to host a party in King

One of the most beautiful restaurants in town. Hogan’s is at the intersection of King city Avenue and Keel Street.
We found it on Google and chose to have lunch there after a long walk in Thornton Bales conservation area.
Right away we were blown away by the beautiful decoration of the restaurant.
It has a very cosy dining area and if you have a big party, there is a table with probably 20 seats upstairs.
We ordered their special linguine pasta, beef, bourguignon, Greek salad and their special burger. We were all quite happy with the food. The linguini had chicken and shrimp and the bourguignon was amongst the best I had tried.
The service was also great. We would probably be a bit more comfortable if we were checked on less frequently but everything else about the service was just great.
We finished with some delicious new York cheesecake and specialty teas.
Will definitely go back and strongly recommend

We found Hogan’s by accident.
Fortunately they could accommodate the 2 of us in the bar area. This restaurant is a find. Good food, good services and a really cozy restaurant with multiple rooms. Their hostess is wonderful. Such a nice personality. I highly recommend making reservations and coming to this restaurant.

My parents would take me to Hogans Inn when I was young. It was a very fancy spot, with great food, professional staff and below it there was a stone walled pub with a fireplace and good scotch.

Tonight I went back after many years to find Hogans has fallen down. My wife ordered the burger. It was a frozen patty with cold fries strewn about the plate. I ordered a wild mushroom salad and the duck confit. The salad was large enough for 2 and resembled something you would see at an Olive Garden. The duck was good, but the potatoes and vegetables with it were bland and sad to see. My friend had a bowl of pasta that made us all laugh when we saw it, unfortunately we were laughing at ourselves.

I won’t go into the service or the atmosphere other than to say that, at 9pm, the old stone pub reverts to a dance bar with a dj working at a weird out of place booth - like the ones you find at cheap all-inclusive resorts in Mexico.

I hate writing this - but I’m hoping someone will read it and save Hogans Inn.
