We went to the King City location for a birthday dinner. We ordered calamari and they added shrimp to the dish, which was fine, however, the shrimp was rancid. It had gone bad and had a strong unbearable taste of ammonia. I brought it up to the waiter for feedback so they don’t serve anymore customers the shrimp. He of course apologized. In my experience with restaurant establishments they usually offer some sort of compensation if they serve rotten food, this was not the case here. My real feedback is when serving rotten food to a customer, offer something tangible not just an apology and don’t leave it on the customer to ask or demand for it. I will NOT be returning and hopefully this review will spare someone of a terrible and gross experience.

The wild mushroom salad is my fav, the meatballs are good but way overpriced. The best part was the lovely service I received. A woman from produce dropped what she was doing, went and washed her hands, put on gloves and, served me from the prepared food counter. Impressive customer service. Much appreciated.

If you're looking for take out pizza, you must try the pizza inside coppas at Nona Francesca's. They have the best pizza in town and worth checking out. The ingredients are fresh, they offer unique ingredients like porchetta, and the dough is well made. You'll even end up eating the crust it's so good.The price is very fair, whether ordering a simple pepperoni pizza or a gourmet one.It's definitely worth checking out. After discovering Nonna Francesca's, we've stopped going to other pizza chains.
The place is slowly degrading. The quality of food, the service. I used to visit MOTORINO every month and Believed it is a hidden gem. Nowadays something happened and this place is tarnished.

i went with my family and i order a calimari as an appetizer little did i know they’re low on money and gave us only 10 pieces of calimari and charged us 22$ for it and it wasn’t even hot i was amazed when they brought it out to us i’ve never seen such a small portion of calimari before but i hate complaining so we just went on then i asked if they could swap the meat for chicken on my penne vodka when i ordered it and they charged me 8$ for the chicken, when it came to my pasta they gave me i could you not 25 pieces of pasta with no sauce it was horrendous, at that point i had it with them screwing us over and complained even the waiter agreed that they cut the portions and in my head i’m thinking why the hell are you sending this leftover to me if you even know it shouldn’t have been served, we look at the bill and the 10 pc small/ medium calimari was 22$ my pasta was 18$ plus’s the extra 8$ of chicken they made me get when i asked for it to just be sealed out and i’m left feeling livid at how they could do this bad, never going there again i feel so bad for the waiter who had to be the face behind this when the kitchen staff should re evaluate how they sever when an resistant is legit empty this is a joke the side of fires was bigger than my pasta and calimari combined crazy and it wasn’t even great food to justify cutting it like that it was a straight up robbery if it wasn’t for a family lunch i wouldn’t have payed half my bill and they would have nothing to say to justify the prices

This place should be closed down took a client was so embarrassed the servers are rude, the girls at the front desk didn't know what they were doing food was horrible pasta was overcooked, and my clients ask for steak it came overcooked never again I don't recommend the place. I lost my client's business I hope the owner fixes this, he should be embarrassed.... Horrible places to go.

We had a sit-down dinner at Motorino recently... a nice treat because Ontario restaurants were closed again due to Covid (except for takeout) but Motorino has a heated patio that can remain open for dining in. The patio was warm enough to be comfortable if you kept your jacket on. The food was great and we were impressed by the presentation of the blueberry tea with Grand Marnier (see pics). While I'm sure the experience would be better if we could have been seated in the main restaurant, this was an unexpected treat to enjoy during lockdown!
