Our Grandchildren love having lunch there. Anthony never disappoints. Food is always delicious and hot. Cheesecakes never disappoint.
Just went for lunch with my mom and even in the heat wave to covered patio was perfect! It's the first time I've been to Mettawas and the food was fantastic, would b such a great date spot.
We enjoyed a delightful lunch. Four people all with different orders and each was delicious. The staff were very friendly and let us take our time. It was a perfect spot to catch up with old friends.
Excellent food and the service was excellent. Shout out to Stacey whose attention to detail and personable service contributed to a great experience. Only negative was I selected “standard” in respect to seating choice on urban spoon and was directed to the patio which was a surprise - not my preference but it all worked out. The individual who greeted us was not accommodating or seemed understanding.
Enjoyed lunch with a couple friends. We all ate a different dish and we all truly enjoyed our meal.
Wonderful spot to eat, the staff is friendly and attentive, they give great recommendations for food choices and wine choices. We are always impressed when we dine here and recommend to others when they ask for great dining experiences in the Kingsville or even the Windsor-Essex county region
We always have a wonderful experience at Mettawas Station. The servier was friendly, efficient and prompt. The food was amazing and delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant and cozy. We celebrated our anniversary and had a wonderful experience.
The ambiance of Kingsville‘s historic railway station is charming and delightful to experience. Staff were friendly, helpful and very attentive. The menu has a varied selection of lovely items. My partner had a delicious pizza and I enjoyed the veal Marsala. We shared a fantastic fluffy lemoncello cheesecake with pistachios, made in house - best ever! The dishes being enjoyed at nearby tables also looked fabulous. We're looking forward to another romantic evening at the Mettawas Station.
We brought guests from North Carolina and they were delighted to dine here. The ambiance, historical significance, service and dining selections were superb. This has long been a special spot for special occasions, and we were proud to share a Kingsville landmark with our visiting family members.
Amazing food and service! The Trainwreck sandwich and Riviera onion soup were incredible! Will definitely be back next time we are in the area!

Calamari excellent Steak excellent Escargot , not fond of sauce or portobello Veal Marsala too rich of a sauce for me. Very noisy . Overall quite good .
Michelle, our server, was very friendly and professional. We ordered several entrees: a Train Wreck veal sandwich with a side of daily soup, perch and chips, perch and spinach salad, and a regular spinach salad entree. Both our diners found the dressing on the spinach salad to be quite sweet and thick. The portion of the perch & chips and perch in general was the small & lean portion size. Considering Perch are not big fish fillets, another 2-3 fillets per portion would have been more appropriate and ample. The wine list was pleasantly stocked with local selections and reasonable price points. Otherwise, a nice spot to stop in on a Sunday outing with a nice history board about the building and nearby location.
I reserved the upper dinning room as I thought it would be quieter, but there was a large party and they were quite loud. Could hear their entire conversation. Not that this is the fault of the restaurant, but maybe they should invest in some sound barring walls. Something to dense the sound. Service was very good, however, I did mention it was our son's birthday and there was no acknowledgement from our waitress, I thought maybe they would bring him a piece of dessert... I do love this restaurant, but I do believe there is room for improvement for the prices that are charged.
Sucky a great experience for fiends birthday dinner!! The service was impeccable from Michael and Sarah! Food was delicious!! Will back sooner than later.
