Disappointed, food was either over cooked or under cooked. Had our waitress come back to ask us how our meal was, would we’ve said something. Unfortunately she basically ignored us till the bill was passed. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone, ever.

The name of the place states "Mediterranean", but I didn't see much in the way of Mediterranean on the menu! Also, when reservations when made on-line, they asked if we were celebrating something special, which we were and noted that it was a birthday, they never even acknowledged it.

AMAZING evening -DELICIOUS APPETIZERS , Arancini , Bruschetta , Panzanella and Mediterranean Salads then our mains were a culinary DELIGHT!!!! Rigatoni Carbonara, Maple Glazed Salmon with Quinoa, Fresh Perch ! BUT TO END THIS EXPLOSION OF FLAVOURS YOU MUST HAVE THE CRÈME BRÛLÉE AND HOMEMADE CHEESECAKE ?????!

After many years of enjoying Mettawas we finally hit a snag! My wife's entree was not very good since the mashed potatoes were too starchy and uneatable. My entree featured the special scallops and rice laced with lentils. The scallops were fine but the rest of meal was terrible. The rice with lentils was completely undercooked and the broccoli spears were stringy and hence hard to cut as well impossible to eat! If they wish to retain our business they must improve quickly!!

Very disappointing! Been there for lunch and was very happy. Dinner was huge disappointing. Awesome service. Initially our table was by wait station and check in. 2 of 4 dishes tasted off. Escargot was disappointing. Overall can't say anything good about food or checking. Our waitress was great.

Great lunch date with friends. Three people ordered train wreck and loved it. I ordered the Mediterrnean Chicken Wrap excellent as well. Love this quaint, welcoming, delicious restaurant!

Four of us had lunch at Mettawas Station on Thursday. Wonderful place, delicious food! Husband had the escargot and proclaimed it the best ever. We shared the perch and chips and a Caesar salad. Friends had the pesto pizza. Jane was an excellent server. We’ll be returning soon!
We were put upstairs which was ok with us but the area was loud due to the small size of room and amount of people that were there( but on the good side the entertainment of one table ) who we're discussing their finances was very entertaining. On the whole it was a good night .

Fantastic service. Seated quickly. Told about the menu options and given time to decide. Great drink menu options. Dinner was excellent. 8 of us dined. Lamb, pasta dishes and ribs all excellent. Lots of dessert choices too. I can't wait to go again.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner on a very cold February evening. The service was friendly and accommodating. The appetizers were delicious; my wife enjoyed a cranberry spinich salad and my beef barley soup was perfect. My wife was overjoyed to get pre-dinner gluten free bread, a rare treat for her in restaurants. The bread was sourced locally and she said it was some of the best she's had. Our appetizers were delicious, and the mains were wonderful. My wife's steak was cooked perfectly and mouth-watering. My pizza was bold and meaty, with more than enough for dinner. If you do dine on a windy cold winter day, I'd advise a table that's not in line with the front door as you will be chilled whenever people come and go. With a diverse menu we will definitely visit again. Overall a great evening and dinner.
