We dont get many date nights away from our littles so we decided to go somewhere fancy. The place is gorgeous but the food was soooo blahhhhh for how insanely expensive is. Returned french onion soup as it was so bland. The 66$ steak that seriously does not come with a side because the sides start at an extra 10-20$ was so thin… tough… i could have done it better at home. Took over an hour to come out and we were one of two couples there. They brought bread out but literally a minute before food came out. Our waiter didnt come back for an extended period to bring water or check on our drinks. My fiance would have had another two beers in the time we waited. While the server was nice… he wasnt great. The other couple there we saw as we were leaving and i actually know them. I messaged to see how their experience was and the reply was exactly how we felt. “So Mediocre for the price”. I dont buy the reviews on here… probably had friends and family leave them. This place wont last.

Long sigh….i really wanted to like this place, and was so excited to visit. The grilled prawns while pretty to look at were absolutely flavorless and overcooked. My stuffed flounder had the consistency of oatmeal and just had absolutely zero flavor. My lone king crab leg was the star of the show along with the side of green beans. Not sure what was in the scalloped potatoes but they were very waxy and oddly floral. Service and atmosphere were fantastic, I just wish that for the price the food was actually edible.

The food here was not great for the price we paid. The seafood was overcooked and rubbery, the steak was dry and tasteless, the prawns were flavorless. The best item we had all night were the seafood cakes which were saved by the house made siracha sauce. Atmosphere was great, service was great, and food presentation was great, need to work on flavor.

My husband took me to Thompson Manor for Valentines Day dinner💕 . This place was amazing - classy yet cozy with an elegant vibe. The food was phenomenal - appetizers, dinner and dessert cooked to perfection. The music set the mood and one of the best parts was our server, Andrew, - so kind and down to earth. This is definitely a hidden gem - with a Chicago Style feel. Will be back 100% 🎶😊✨❤️

A Five-Star Experience Worth Every Bite!
From the moment we walked into The Thompson Manor, we knew we were in for something special. The ambiance was elegant yet inviting, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening.
We indulged in their perfectly cooked steak, which was tender, flavorful, and cooked to absolute perfection. The lobster was equally divine—succulent, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Every bite was a testament to the kitchen’s mastery.
The drink selection was outstanding, with expertly crafted cocktails that paired beautifully with our meal. From the first sip to the last, each drink was balanced, creative, and refreshing.
What truly set this experience apart was the exceptional service. Our main server Nick was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and went above and beyond to ensure our night was flawless.
If you’re looking for a top-tier dining experience with incredible food, amazing drinks, and impeccable service, Thompson Manor is the place to be. A well-deserved five stars! We will definitely be back.

Took my better half out for Valentine's dinner. It was our first time having dinner. The restaurant itself is impressive. Used to be a Victorian tea house that was renovated but they kept the original feel creating a cozy intimate vibe. Andrew our waiter turned out to be the owner operator and he was a delight to interact with throughout our stay. Very attentive and genuine. Best part is they gave me two steaks for the price of 1 because they were both under 8 oz. Crème brule trio for dessert was a treat. My wife said the coffee was one of the best she's had in a while. We had a wonderful night and will be back for sure! Oh yeah the music was great grabbed some songs for our playlist.
Delicious food and lovely staff 🥰

We recently celebrated a birthday at Thompson Manor in Kingsville, and it was a delightful experience. The atmosphere was relaxed, and we never felt rushed. The service was attentive, and the cocktails were expertly crafted.
We began with the beef tips and tuna tartare; both were delicious. For our main courses, we chose the sea scallops and lobster pasta, which were equally impressive.
Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and we look forward to returning.

everything was amazing. the food and especially the service. very nice atmosphere and i can't wait to visit again.
Food was good, service was ok, price was high. Seemed a bit short staffed for New Years Eve. I was hoping the seafood risotto would be as good as Luann's in London but it was not, although it was still good it was missing the lobster noted in the menu.
What a wonderful place to eat at. Beautiful decorated the staff and service unbelievable. The food was excellent
