Authentic, Italian dining with great ambiance, excellent service and reasonable prices. The only comment I would make is that that they need to write their specials down on a board. Our server (poor guy) had to repeat what was quite a long list of the specials to every single table. I couldn't remember half of them when he had finished so I ended up just ordering off the menu. It's a bit much to ask the servers to remember all the specials and then expect the guests to remember all of them. We feel like we missed out. Write down all on the specials on a board and let the guests take their time in choosing. Apart from that, the place was great and would have no hesitation in dining there again.

My brother and I decided to take my mother here for a fancy lunch after visiting the McMichael Gallery for her Birthday. The experience was perfect - a beautiful, open, bright, modern space, very friendly and attentive service, incredibly delicious, fresh, seasonal food, and a reasonable price compared to very nice restaurants in downtown Toronto. Oysters, two salads, crab, pasta, meatballs, sparkling water, cappuccino, espresso, and chocolate semifredo with a candle (brought to us without any prompting), all for $190. A similar meal downtown would have approached $300 in today's prices, and would not have been as delightfully delicious, unpretentious, or seamless. Would return without hesitation.

This Restaurant deserves a Michelin Star Title. It is extremely a professional atmosphere, the service is the outmost excellent I’ve ever seen. The servers, the hosts (Luigi, Desiree, and Luca) are incredibly friendly and extremely accommodating. They are amazing people. Lastly the food is incredibly authentic and is the key indicator to why this restaurant deserves the Michelin Star Title.

We went to La Baracca dinner recently. The food is overall good (but nothing special or unique really). The menu specials they were pushing aggressively, before even having a chance to look at the regular menu are quite more expensive (by about 40-50%). They do not have or show you the Specials Menu nor they tell you the prices upfront. You only have to listen to the waiter reciting the specials menu at 100km/hours. If you order any of the specials as we did and once you get the bill then you are in for a big price sticker shock. There is no Wine menu published on the website. Once in the restaurant and look at the wine menu you realize they have only 3 red cheaper wines offered by the glass starting at $16 for a 6 oz glass. The 375ml small bottle wine is $45 ad up and the regular 750ml bottle is $60 and way up from there - $130 and up).The waiter was constantly checking on us if we needed anything, but in fact they were rushing us and asking if we were done with each course. Twice they tried to collect our plates before we were even finished. We got in at 5:45pm, had a 3 course meal with wine, dessert and coffee and were defacto rushed to vacate before 8:00pm. So, while the restaurant is open till 11:00pm, unless you keep consuming non-stop without a break you are made to feel uncomfortable to have a pause between the courses and to stay for a bit after you had dinner just to have a conversation after the marathon dinner pace imposed on you.The restaurant is very overcrowded, there are too many tables for the space and as a result too many people sitting close to each other, all of which results in a significant noise and chatter to the point it gets hard to hear what others on your table are saying. At some point we felt like were were in a diner or a pub.All the course we had were quite salty and the Crème Brûlée we had in the end was not prepared and baked well as it should be for this type of dessert.Given the big bill we paid for what we had and given the service and the overall ambience we left disappointed. On the positive side, the washrooms are very clean and we had someone take our coats and then help us put them on when we left.We were greeted by someone at the parking lot and then the same person waived us good bye when we left, which was a nice touch.Overall we would not recommend this restaurant to people seeking fine dining experience and pleasant and quiet atmosphere, even though the prices are at that level and above.

Tried for the first time last night. Both my wife and I were very positively impressed. Friendly and attentive service. Everything on the menu felt enticing... and then our waiter added 15 more options as specials: it was really hard to pick ? Amazing food, I was really impressed by the polipo! It's on the pricier side, but we knew going in. The main downside is that it gets loud when full and doesn't really allow for an intimate dine in experience. That being said, my wife and I will definitely go back.

Loved having another alternative to dining in Vaughan. Being able to avoid going downtown disaster Toronto is so nice. First off service met with a smile. Gorgeous renovation, very modern and welcoming. A little loud but no fault of the restaurant. We find this often in restaurants. didn't matter in the end, Wally was our server and so attentive, responsive, knowledge, pleasant, such a great personality and welcoming. Noticed the owner made rounds as well - seemed to pitch in to help staff. shows quality of management as well in my opinion. the food was fabulous. Had the arugula beet salad. delish. hubby had branzino, i had lamb shank - both right of the menu (although extensive list of specials which also sounded great! ). lamb shank was tender, delicious and not too overdone with gravy as is sometimes the case. i'd return for sure. and the patios (come good weather ) look like they'll be super nice as well. A welcome addition to Kleinburg.

Very yummy food! Luca was our server and he was great. Very attentive! The restaurant was full so it was a bit loud. Other than that, I will definitely be going back to La Baracca.

We visited for a girl's night/cousins outing. They sat us at the front by the window it was a little private area. I loved the ambiance and the seating they offered. Food was delicious. Everyone cleared their plates. I got the lamb for dinner. It fell off the bone. Dessert was great too. I got the pistachio lava cake. Highly recommend. We put in the notes ahead of time that it was my cousin's birthday and they brought a dessert at the end of the evening. Service was great! Will go back for sure!
