We got married in The Heritage Room and it was absolutely beautiful and so romantic. Our reception was in the Country Fare and it was the perfect atmosphere for our intimate and romantic wedding. Not to mention the food was AMAZING. Everyone from our coordinators Dana and Alyssa, to our officiant Hazel, and all the staff in between were helpful, kind and always available for all our questions. From start to finish, the staff at The Doctor’s House went above and beyond. Elisa Palumbo-Thompson, our sales associate, made the planning process smooth and enjoyable, while Alyssa Richichi, our logistics manager, ensured every detail came together flawlessly. On the day itself, the entire team, from the servers and bartenders were all professional, attentive, and genuinely kind.
The food was exceptional — our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was! Every course was beautifully presented and perfectly prepared.

The transition from our ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception flowed beautifully, and it was clear that the team had every moment meticulously planned.
We received raving reviews from all of our guests — everyone commented on how incredible the venue was, how smooth everything ran, and how amazing the food tasted. The dishes were served piping hot (which is so rare for a large event!) and cooked perfectly.
The energy on the dance floor was another highlight. The in-house DJ, Xclusive Entertainment, was phenomenal. They didn’t just play music — they read the room and kept the party alive all night long. Song after song was a hit, and our guests are still talking about how much fun they had. More than one person told us, “That was the best wedding I’ve ever been to.”

It's a wedding factory. They book out multiple events for the same day so the music and announcements from separate events will bleed into your wedding vows. They don't reserve parking so your guest will have to park on street. They also show the wedding area off while in use.
Staff look like they hate their jobs and guidance is limited during the day of. The food is inconsistent with some dishes being too dry and others being undercooked.

We had a mixed experience with our wedding venue. On the positive side, the planning process leading up to our day was organized, our meetings were efficient, and Danna, our day-of coordinator, was absolutely wonderful—friendly, knowledgeable, and flexible with all of our changing plans. We also chose this venue because of its beauty, especially the small white chapel, which became the backdrop for so many of our keepsake photos.
Unfortunately, there were also several disappointments that had a real impact on our experience. Most concerning, while staying overnight in the bridal suite, our locked room was broken into at 3:30am on the morning of the wedding. The suite was secured with a personalized code, which only staff had access to, yet it was still opened. There was no security on the premises overnight, and no staff arrived until 10:30am. This incident caused a great deal of anxiety and fear during what should have been a calm, joyful morning. We no longer felt comfortable staying on the property and decided to drive home that night, which forced us to alter our plans on very short notice. Although the venue offered a hotel room and later refunded $1,000, we do not feel this sufficiently acknowledged or compensated for the impact the situation had on our wedding day. The lack of security measures or clear safety protocols for overnight guests is a serious concern, and the venue’s handling of the aftermath felt dismissive.
Another disappointment was a detail that seems small but significantly affected our wedding photos. The two flower pots at the base of the chapel stairs were left empty, with only plastic pots and an orange sandbag sitting beside them. Unfortunately, as the bride, I did not notice this on the day, and all of our chapel photos — which should have been timeless and beautiful — now require editing. There was also major construction that was being performed the weeks before our wedding, with cleanup of the construction happening the morning of our wedding. Tire marks and safety cones were left along the path/patio leading into the Great Hall. This oversight from the venue, whose responsibility it is to maintain the chapel area, and surrounding area, took away from the charm we had envisioned.
We want to share our experience not to take away from the beauty of the venue or the positive aspects of the planning, but to caution future couples. Please be aware that there is no staff on the property overnight and no security in place, and be mindful that details you may expect to be taken care of (like floral arrangements at the chapel) are not always guaranteed. For the cost of this venue, we expected more reliability and accountability in ensuring both safety and presentation on such an important day.
