I was staying in Whitney during a hiking trip to Algonquin and decided to drive there for a dinner once (40 km ish). What a great decision it was! There was a band of local guys playing live music outside and a handful of their friends supporting them and just enjoying their Saturday with a beer ?. They were happy and very friendly ?? The food was great also: assorty of BBQ meat with coleslaw, fresh buns and bourbon beans ? If you are in the east of Algonquin, visit this marvelous place!
Great, no frills place, family owned, with super tasty home smoked meats. You can feel (and taste!) the passion for nice smoked meat. Great ribs, brisket, good pulled pork. For meat lovers with generous portions.

Great food. We have been back several times for the smoked brisket for good reason. Just came away from Friday night wood fired pizza and it was over the top. We are already looking forward to trying the pulled pork pizza next week.

Omg the food was soo incrediably good. The portions huge and the guys were so friendly. We got take out for the hubby's bday and we were NOT disappointed. All the meat was tender and the beans are the BEST. Don't skip the beans as a side. thank you so much for a great dinner.
