Really enjoyable experience. You eat right in the middle of the garden where most of the food is grown. The owners are clearly dedicated and passionate about their work. The food is great.

Our meal on Sept 21 2024 was our second time visiting, and they blew me away yet again! Every plate of our 6-course meal was beautifully and thoughtfully composed, (without pretentious use of tweezers, which to me was refreshing!), celebrating many locally-sourced or on-premise-raised ingredients. Chef Matt, his wife-partner Autumn and Thrive are the next-generation Staedlander Farm - but more budget-friendly without compromising on value/quality and ambience. Speaking of ambience, their set-up is Instagram-worthy pretty! A perfect romantic date night destination, and gathering from other guests’ reaction I witnessed, I know they’d agree. Including few shots I took with my phone.

My wife and I had an unforgettable experience at Thrive Norfolk! From the stunning setting to the exquisite food, every detail was amazing. The stories behind each dish added a meaningful touch that made our experience exceptional. We can't wait to return—this will definitely be an annual tradition for us!

This was my second time visiting this magical place. The food is absolutely amazing. Every part of the dining experience is well worth the trip. The homemade sauces and the firepit right out front, where most of the food is cooked. I will be back every year as our family has now made this a tradition.

An amazing one of a kind culinary experience that I would highly recommend. You’ll need to reserve a spot weeks in advance but so worth it.

A group of friends went to this Innovative Norfolk Thrive Farm-to-table Event this Summer. It was Over the Top 5 Star — all locally grown food… It’s good to know South Western Ontario has eco organic farming events like this!
Such a unique experience, the food was amazing.

What a lovely and delicious dinner experience! Truly farm to table! Went here with a friend - both of us celebrating our birthdays together.
Started with a fresh sourdough bread (so soft you can devour several pieces) and yummy zucchini jam.
First course was a potato based dish but the stars were the grilled cucumer and leek ash.
Next came the beautiful courgette tart - a masterpiece in floral display. Pie dough is made of purple basil. Base of the pie is ricotta, lemon and honey. My fav of the night!
Third course was rainbow trout over beans sauteed with lovage, Vidalia onion puree served with purslane salad.
This is followed by a lamb ragu with beet mallareddus.
The palette cleanser - lemon basil sorbet - was refreshing with a nice hint of basil flavour.
The main course was a mild tasting grass fed lamb over a carrot puree and an aracini filled with peas.
Dessert was a creative lavender milk custard surrounded with lavender meringue pieces, black walnut bits and blueberry infused jellies. I''m not usually a dessert person but this was so light, not overly sweet and has a balanced variety of textures.
Every dish was well thought out, the flavour profiles of each ingredient matched each other and seasonging was spot on. The floral themed table arrangement gave an elegant yet rustic feel. Bravo!
Wheelchair accessibility: You would need to push the wheelchair a bit downward to the dining area on the grass, but it's fairly flat.

Outsanding foods. Chef definitely put love in his cooking. Multiple course meal "just enough" sized with things you would probably never try anywhere else.

What a treat! We had no idea what to expect but the experience was far beyond our expectations. From the caring, pleasant, upbeat atmosphere to the impeccably prepared food; it was just a wonderful and amazing evening.
On a beautiful summer evening we enjoyed being served some really wonderful food in the setting of the produce garden at tables tastefuly prepared by Autumn, who also prepared some delicious sourdough breads and desserts.
Matt, the chef, along with his apprentice prepared much of the food, including some delicious trout, duck and vegetables over an open wood fire.
I could go on, but it really is an experience you should try for yourself. Highly recommended!!
