Visited recently and faced rude, dismissive behavior from the staff. We were pressured to order immediately, made to feel uncomfortable, and mocked when we decided to leave.
Now we see the restaurant is getting their own people to post glowing reviews to discredit us instead of taking responsibility. This isn’t just disappointing—it’s dishonest. Everyone deserves fair treatment, no matter who they are.
Had a terrible experience here. The server was rude and pushy from the moment we walked in, making us feel completely unwelcome. When we chose to leave, she mocked us with a sarcastic “Not surprised.”
Now we’re seeing clearly biased reviews defending this behavior—likely from regulars or insiders trying to cover it up. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect, not dismissed and discredited.
I was in the bar today and had to witness some extremely disrespectful people in the hideout. I go to this place all the time. The waitresses are amazing, the bar tender is amazing. Always welcoming and kind. Today my favourite lady was serving me and had snack of guys walk in being so disrespectful I was about to cancel my order and leave. This place is a family orientated place. They care about their regulars and I’m so happy that Christine stepped up and said something so that everyone else’s time at our favorite spot. Thank you to her for keeping this a happy place!!
We had an extremely upsetting experience at this restaurant. Right from the start, the server was rude and dismissive, abruptly tossing menus at us and repeatedly interrupting us despite our polite request for a few minutes.
Her tone and behavior felt not just unprofessional, but racially charged, making us feel deeply uncomfortable. We ultimately decided to leave, and as we walked out, she muttered “not surprised” in a mocking accent, clearly meant to insult us.
This experience was both hurtful and unacceptable. No one should be made to feel unwelcome or discriminated against in any dining space.
I visited The Hideout Bar & Grill recently and had a very disappointing experience. From the moment we entered, the woman who greeted us spoke in an unfriendly tone and seemed uninterested in making us feel welcome. As soon as we received the menu, she started pushing us to order right away—even though we had just sat down.
She came back again and again, repeatedly pressuring us to order drinks and hovering around our table, which made us very uncomfortable. We felt rushed and unwelcome, not like valued customers. Eventually, we decided not to stay, handed back the menus politely—and as we were leaving, she remarked sarcastically, “Not surprised.”
That comment, along with the entire interaction, felt completely disrespectful and possibly discriminatory. It’s unacceptable to treat customers this way, especially when we were calm and respectful throughout.
I hope the management takes this seriously. Everyone deserves to feel comfortable and respected when they go out to eat.
Everything is good!

We went on Friday evening. The menus had symbols for vegetarian and gluten free options. But the menu had absolutely no gluten free symbols next to items. I inquired and the server pointed to a wrap saying it was gluten free….. wraps are not gluten free at all. I asked her to check on the nacho chips in order to be sure that they were corn chips. So I ordered nachos with beef. $33 dollars and I was served stale chips with dried out ground beef spattered. The worst chips I ever had. My sister had fish and chips, she asked for lemon and the server came back saying “ the lemon is under the fish” it was not so she finally brought a sliver of lemon to the table stating that the cook was arguing with her about the slice of lemon. The chicken strips did not have any dipping sauce and again when we inquired we were told that it should be there.
Clearly we will not ever go back

Phenomenal food & service. Our waitress Lisa was a superstar. There was 14 of us for breakfast. Everything was perfect, not one mistake for that many orders. Lisa was pleasant, extremely well mannered and just an amazing person. The food was outstanding. No greasy food, eggs were all perfect despite multiple different orders.
Highly recommend The Hideout. 5 stars doesn't seem enough.

The wings are pretty good, the lady working there was polite and cheerful. The fact is that 16 wings cost $37 not including a tip. Over $2/ small wing. These inflated prices are keeping people away. Its a shame, i try to support local business but im getting priced out.
