Ice cream was extremely soft and was immediately melting down the cone, even though it was a relatively cool evening
Always a great place to relax and enjoy a good treat with the family.

Cool place by the beach, but food was awful.
Service was good
Fries were good
Shakes were runny
Burgers were bad. Not sure what they used for meat, but it wasn't familiar to me.

This is your typical diner fried food place. The footlong hot dogs are decent, and the fries are good and have a different seasoning on them. The prices are a little high in my opinion. The fish and chips was just a Frozen battered piece of fish, rather disappointing.
Parking: Can be difficult to find parking if it's busy, but there is a lot very close by.
Kid-friendliness: Burgers, fries, hot dogs, grilled cheese,. Lots of choices for even picky eaters

I hadn't been to Burgess's for years, since I retired . I have recently moved to Leamington so I thought a visit was in order. I ordered Butter Pecan ice cream in a waffle bowl and sat on a bench overlooking the boardwalk at the beach. It was delicious. The young lady had thoughtfully given me an extra plain bowl to hold the waffle. It came in handy. I will go back in the near future and order food

Worst poutine I have ever eaten. Small size for price and cheese was terrible. Go to Harvey’s for your poutine

Just went for ice cream here, very reasonable with a beautiful view of Lake Erie. Food prices are affordable and it looks very tasty. Definitely going back.

Stopped here for ice cream and it was delicious. The staff was helpful and courteous. The seating could have outdoor umbrellas to offer more shade, but other than that it was a great experience.

11.50 banana split and 5.30 soft serve somehow came out to be 22.50. Feels like a scam to me
The same as a lot of others have indicated, pricey up charges to use debit and when asked about the charge was basically told by the owner if I don't like it I could go somewhere else completely rude customer service no regard for the customer I only had a question about my charge and was happy to pay it and was met with a miserable Owner. We'll not go back and definitely plan to spread the word.

For more than 6 decades, Burgess has been serving and delighting customers. A must stop when in leamington, whether it's for a foot long or burger, or their legendary ice cream, Burgess is the best! Located at the end of Erie Street adjacent to the Leamington Dock, Seacliff Beach and the Seacliff Hotel.
Parking: Parking in front of the restaurant as well as municipal lots in the area.

it's okay nothing to complain about but the prices. 20+ is a lot to pay for a a single hamburger meal(only comes with a small side and a can of pop) if you want to buy something similar I'd recommend waiting till a wednesday and getting a whopper at burger king it's much better value
