We ordered from there yesterday. First time since Covid. The egg rolls were tough and tiny bean sprouts. Won ton was not cooked. Ordered a dinner for two which said beef chow mein and we got chicken, yet they charged extra for soo guy. We will never be back as it was tasteless and you couldn't even smell it. Disgusting for 50 bucks.

I read Rachel Phan's memoir Restaurant Kid and decided to drop by China Village Cuisine after visiting Point Pelee. There are copies of her book on display. It's takeout only, and I got the #3 daily special for two, which comes out to around $30. This restaurant reminds me of my uncle's Chinese-Canadian restaurant in Vancouver: minimal upkeep to keep prices low but still proudly serving customers for many years.

I am 1 person and only need enough food for 1 person. 3 times I have tried buying dinner twice I had to go to Wheatley for chinese. All I know is Wheatley dont mind changing plain tasting chicken fried rice to vegetable fried rice this one woman said they did not deliver so I went Wheatley instead. 2 time I got chicken balls and vegtable fried rice. Tonight woman insisted I could not change out the rice for rice I wanted. You keep turning customers away the money I would have spent there is going to Wheatley. Your losing business over 1 woman who has pushed customers away

The honey garlic ribs are the best!! But 80% of the time they aren't available. They're on the menu, figure it out already! Not being able to serve items on your menu should be a rare thing, not the norm.

Another restaurant with take out only and an hour wait for the food. Since the pandemic hit, owners disnt reopen. Very detrimental to the town. Not that they care about the Town
We were looking forward to having Cantonese chow Mein as this is one of our favourite dishes and the chinese restaurant in our village is under new management and changed the recipe for how they make this dish as compared to the previous owner. We had heard such rave reviews about this dish at China Village. . However the noodles were so over cooked to the point of being unedible. They were in one big glob under the veggies and meats. No sauce at all. So disappointing. We ended up throwing the dish out.
