One of the best place. S for bakery, we are a bit expensive, but would highly recommend to get it

We arrived quite early on Dec 24. There was a man in line in front of us waiting to place an order. It appeared only 2 of the 7 servers were actually doing something; the other 5 appeared to be involved in non-essential tasks or seeking direction instead of attending to guests. We left after 10 minutes. As everything else in town was closed we returned to indifferent service again.The counter clerk got the order wrong and we had to wait until after our food arrived for our coffee. But nicely by this time all staff seemed to be involved with some aspect of customer service. 2 actually had a pleasant smile. We will always return for the breakfast even if the service continually disappoints.

Not Impressed...I ordered a Yule Log cake for Christmas because my Family enjoys this dessert...I ordered it a week before hand..I go in tonight to pick it up nd they have given it to someone else with the same name...maybe check the phone numbers...it was suggested that they can make one for tomorrow which I could drive back to Leamington to pick up..it's Christmas Eve tomorrow nd who has time for that...but what really made me upset was no apologies..just I can get something else if I like...no! I specifically placed an order a week early so i would have one....so not Impressed!! This isn't the first time they have screwed up but it's the last time for me..I'll take my business elsewhere!

I had a wonderful experience at Lakeside Bakery thanks to Melanie. She was incredibly pleasant and an absolute delight to interact with. Her warm personality and great customer service made my visit extra enjoyable. It’s always refreshing to meet someone who genuinely brightens your day and Melanie definitely does that.

Went here 2 days in a row when visiting leamington, both times were great! On top of five star food, arrive and atmosphere there was lots of patience for the wiggly little ones that were with us! Will go again for sure!

Yikes! Was in town for a tournament and I always like to support the small local businesses and this place looked cute but looks are very deceiving. The poor young high school student couldn’t work the espresso machine. They were way backed up with orders and people standing around and I paid $15 for some sliced sandwich cheese. Better to go to the Starbucks across the street and I hate saying that.
I am giving the Lakeside a bad review because we had to wait over a half hour our for just a soup and a chai latte, but this is by far the first time the service has been nearly as slow. Talking to the manager eventually resolved our order but, as in the past here, the attention one gets is diffident at best. In my opinion there is not a good system set up for putting through orders. Certainly not a shortage of staff, and the restaurant is never particularly full when we experience very slow service. Disappointing, because the restaurant has a great atmosphere and good food.

Lakeside is an exceptional place to come to enjoy a meal or just a coffee and sweets. My sister's and myself come each week and enjoy the time there. But one complaint is where the handicap ramp is from the handicap parking. My sister uses a walker and has to walk all the way to the ramp as the rest of us can just step up to the door, we feel it should be moved closer to the handicap parking spot. We are sure we are not the only ones who have this issue.

I'm in love. This was my first time here today and I absolutely loved it. What a gorgeous little cafe and deli. I picked up some bread, some treats, and a latte and olives to snack on. The Portuguese side of me was screaming at me to get it all lmao. This was probably the best vanilla iced latte I've had - SO smooth and just the right amount of sweet while still tasting like a coffee. The olives were FRESH and delicious, and the Portuguese tart was *chefs kiss* - all this AND a very kind staff, it's easy to say I'll be coming back! So glad I found this place.
