Had take out. We ordered a taco dinner, burrito dinner, and enchiladas dinner. Food was hot and fresh. Some of the best Mexican food in town. Prices are very reasonable for the portion.

Friendly atmosphere and busy place. Food was good and reasonably priced. Nice for a lunch or dinner. Will visit again.

The fare was good, the price was fair although the portions weren't overly generous. The young woman behind the counter was friendly and helpful.

Very tasty authentic style Mexican cuisine. Excellent prices and good portions. Extremely polite and friendly staff. I would recommend this restaurant any time you need to satisfy your cravings for Mexican food.

This restaurant was suggested to us by a Mexican friend, and it was up to the hype. A clean, family run establishment with a focus on making flavourful food. Tongue tacos, tortas, cane suger Coke, Our Lady of Guadalupe and a soccer game...the essentials of a real Mexican restaurant. We met the cooks who were very gracious and clearly sharing their passion for food. One of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of visiting, and this list includes Toronto, USA, Mexico and Central America.

The restaurant is cute as a button, the staff friendly and helpful and the asada tacos and refried beans were amazing. I don’t know if they house make the tortillas but they are exceptional, like in Latin America; not the doughy kind you get in Canadian restaurants.

Great tasting meal. We ordered the beef enchiladas and the fresh gauacamole. Don’t let the exterior of the place deter you - there’s a film over the front window so you can’t see inside. But open the door and go in.

Following a wonderful day at the National Park (Pt. Pelee), we went into Leamington, looking for somewhere to have a late lunch. One quick search showed us several options, including Salsa Caliente, in our vicinity, so we two couples went there and had a fabulous lunch. The dough for the enchiladas and tacos was so wholesome tasting. Service was fantastic, the salsa was the best I’ve ever had. Our impression was that it was an incredibly authentic Mexican food experience (and the Churros were the best way to round out the meal).
