On Saturday September 27 my husband & I celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary with a lovely lunch. Ivy greeted us promptly, asked us our seating preference & was our waitress throughout our meal. I cannot say enough good things about this fantastic young lady. She was polite, attentive, friendly, knowledgeable about the extensive menu & gave excellent & professional service. She made this 1st time visit perfect for us. Additionally, the food is delicious with generous portions for a reasonable price. Give Castle John's a try & say Hi to Ivy for us !!

Just finished dinner at the Travelodge Castle John’s in Lindsey food is not bad. They claim it wasn’t microwave, but I feel it was to have a shepherds pie come less than 10 minutes after ordering trying to get through a French onion soup starter, and the main meal comes within minutes… Far too fast serve not enough time to enjoy. Didn’t leave a tip and the server made a point of checking the bill to see if there was a tip not gonna tip for service like that. The food is mediocre at best my recommendation if you’re going to eat here make sure to tell him not to bring it too quickly.

Nice and clean Great menu We had the Yorkies as an appetizer. A big one and very unique!! WOW but not crispy which I love. So 4 out of 5 for me Steve 4.5 for Steve
He had liver and onions and he rates it 5 out if 5 for quality and quantity. He says amazing.
I had fish tacos. Haddock ✅ which is a plus, alioli sauce too much for me but good over all. I prefer the sweet chilli sauce and shrimp. I would rate mine 3.5 out of 5. Not too bad but would order something else next time. But we will for sure come back 💯 percent. BTW The service was 10 out of 5. Excellent best we have ever had Peggy 😃

Daughter had a hair in her wings, re ordered and her meal was served at the same time as our take out order. I ordered Mediterranean chicken sandwich with garden salad. Hair on my plate as well, chicken was inedible and the salad had rotten spinach in it. They took 20% off my meal ($3.40) and graciously took the wings with the hair off of the bill. Will never go back, disappointing as it had always been great in the past.

First time at this restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it. Server was most attentive. Lovely atmosphere for a sports bar that was not so loud that you could still have a conversation with your party. Our meals were delicious and nicely plated. If you are just passing by on your way to another destination, this is the place to be without having to wander into town for a nice meal.

No onions in the French onion soup. Last time we went you could smell the soup down the hall! My club sandwich had little to no mayo, super dry! The chicken parmesan sandwich had little to no cheese or red sauce!
