Okay, love it or hate it, we all know what KFC is, and what to expect on average. It’s not fine dining. And, as far as KFC locations goes, this Lindsay location is one of the best and most consistent I’ve ever been to, and I’m including Markham, Aurora/Newmarket, Oshawa and Peterborough in that tally.
After using this location regularly for 1.5 years, I can say I’ve never had a bad meal - some better than others, but their worst days here is most locations’ good days. They’ve only got an order wrong once, but on average they err on the side of being more generous than less, so I wasn’t concerned.
My biggest complaint is they can be slow, but the chicken is also typically a lot fresher than I’m used to from KFC. I’m not sure why this location has such a low rating, but in my experience that’s not deserved.

Was here with my girlfriend on Tuesday Feb 25th 2025 at 5:56pm and we had to walk out. The guy at the checkout was enjoying a story time with some other dude, we stood for a while but he never wanted to attend us, very poor customer service, I felt really embarrassed coz I just wanted to treat my girl and we had to walk away.

I’m honestly not sure why this KFC location has received so many negative reviews. I truly sympathize with those who may have had disappointing experiences in the past, but mine was completely different and quite positive. I was visiting Lindsay from Toronto on Victoria Day and decided to stop by for lunch. Out of all the KFCs and fried chicken chains I’ve been to over the years, this location actually stands out as one of the best, both in terms of food quality and overall experience.
When I arrived, the restaurant was fairly quiet, which made the atmosphere calm and pleasant. There was just a father with his children and a couple who came in and left before I finished my meal. I placed my order through the app and chose to dine in, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quick and efficient the service was. My food was ready within minutes and brought out fresh and hot.
The chicken was crispy, juicy, and well seasoned. It was definitely fresher than what I’ve come to expect from most fast food places. The pieces were also a good size, and nothing felt overly greasy. The fries were perfectly cooked and still had that slight crisp you hope for, and the coleslaw was chilled, creamy, and refreshing. Altogether, it was a solid and satisfying meal. I ordered the four piece box meal, and for about sixteen dollars, I felt like it was a really fair price for the amount and quality of food I received.
Beyond the food, I was also impressed with how clean the restaurant was. The tables were spotless, the counters were tidy, and the overall environment was well maintained. Even the washrooms were clean, which is something that often gets overlooked in fast food establishments.
All in all, I had a great experience at this KFC. It exceeded my expectations, especially given that many locations tend to offer a fairly average experience. This one was a refreshing exception. I would definitely come back again the next time I’m in Lindsay and would recommend it to anyone passing through who is looking for a quick, tasty, and affordable meal.

I stopped eating here over a year ago because of wait times and poor quality food. Was tempted to go there for a sandwich today, thought I’d check the reviews first and see. Nope. Will not be giving this location another chance. Nothings changed and management doesn’t seem to care.

We ordered the 2 can dine for $12.00 and bought it through the drive through. When we got home we were able to open out box to see 2 drum sticks 2 "Mangled" pieces of what was to be thighs 2 fries and 2 popcorn chicken. I have never had popcorn chicken and well lets just say it was mechanically deboned separated chicken? reshaped into little balls and deep fried. I know the box was cheap but didn't expect to be so disappointed in KFC. Maybe it was the location or the product has changed. Let's just say I will not be returning.

Dining room closed on Wed Aug 20. Note should say starting Aug 20. Anyway, asked for 4 legs in the bucket. Nope. Chicken overcooked and all were like tiny cuts with no meat. Avoid this clown show at all costs. Popeyes is just down the road. Friendly, accommodating, great quality. Update March 4 2022. Pulled in, employee leaning against wall outside by door. Does not say bugger all. Pull up to menu board, obviously closed, 4pm on a Friday. Loserville. Edit Sept 27/24 Decided to try again. Indian music blaring in the kitchen and watched an employee drop a clean empty chicken bucket on the ground then pick it up and place it back on the table with the clean ones. Big puddle of oil in bottom of my bucket, gross.

I ordered the $10 special,2 sandwich and 2 fries and a large gravy,best part of the meal and that did not end up in the trash was the gravy,fries where mushy, chicken looked and smells old did took one bite and threw it out takes ten like old greasy and was over cooked,what a waste of $16.00
