We’ve been going here for many years and always really enjoyed the food, however, tonight was awful service. I called at 4pm to have the food ready for 6pm. When we got there to pick it up the restaurant had about 11 people standing around waiting for their orders. Nobody came out to address us and keep us updated on our orders. We stood there and waited for 45min and asked for an update, the girl went to the back and never came out, so we left. With no food; at 6:55pm we get a call that our order is ready and I told them we left because it took too long, she asked if we wanted the food still and I said no and she hung up. No sorry or acknowledgement of the wait. Personally, I think this is horrible service and we will not be ordering from here again.

Really like the food quality here however last few times we've ordered ahead of time our food has not been ready when we come to pickup. We've had wait times of 40 min to 1 hr passed the pickup time given. Will be ordering elsewhere unfortunatley going forward.

We have been here several times in the past 5 years. Not only us, but family as well. Everyone loves the O.K. for its hot & delicious food, many options. Very accomadating to allergies as well. I like the owner, she is on top of everything and friendly.

I never write reviews but tonight I unfortunately need to! Every Christmas Eve we get Chinese food and have been ordering from O.K. for years!! This afternoon I called at 3 pm and placed an order for pick up at 6. I ordered 6 egg rolls, chicken fried rice, beef fried rice, pork Lo Mein, chicken balls, and lemon chicken pieces and the order came to $80.80.

At 6pm I arrive and there are 10 people waiting for food so I grab a seat and prepare for a wait. They are known to be slow, and it’s a busy night, so I’m prepared for that. About 10 minutes later my order comes out and I pay and leave. I get across town and when we unpack I notice right away that the lemon chicken is missing. Not wanting to return, I called and spoke to a really nice young lady who offered to write a note so we could get the chicken on the next order—perfect! We start to do our plates up and realize the red sauce for the chicken balls is also missing— in fact they sent no sauce at all. I grabbed my keys and asked my mom to call back and let them know I am coming back for the missing items. Who wants chicken balls and no sauce??

I get back across town and when I get there the young woman politely explains they are making the chicken. I also let her know we didn’t get the free egg rolls and then I sit to wait. After about 10 minutes an older woman comes out of the kitchen with lemon chicken and is yelling for who it’s for. I said I was waiting on that and red sauce and she proceeds to start going off about how I can’t have the sauce because I called once and said just the chicken. I explained we called back and she first said I could only call once and then basically accused me of ripping them off. She was yelling to the point that another customer spoke up and called her out. As she stormed off I told her that I paid $80 for food and expected to get it. She continued to yell in the kitchen and then returned with red sauce and told me to get some manners! I told her next time we would go somewhere else and to have a Merry Christmas!

We will NOT be going there again— which sucks because the food is good, but I won’t give my money to a business that treats customers so poorly when they have only asked to get what they paid for. Oh! And they gave no free egg rolls and no fortune cookies!!

DO NOT EAT HERE!! This place has crap quality sushi, I came in with friends and got all you can eat sushi. We order that same stuff that we normally get from every sushi restaurant we’ve ever been to. We got our food and it tasted so bad we couldn’t finish it. One of the rolls literally tasted like the shrimp had been frozen and just thawed. The rest tasted old and stale. When we went to leave and told the waitress that we didn’t like the food. She was immediately offended and said that we just ordered too much food. When I told her that we would have eaten the rest, but that the problem was with the quality of food. She changed her tone and started telling us that we needed to pay for the food we didn’t eat. All of my friends left very upset and still hungry. Don’t eat here, you will be very disappointed and leave feeling sick.

40 years of ordering Chinese from the same place in Ajax, never thought we would find a place here in Lindsay. I had tried a couple others by recommendation and was not happy. Ordered from here tonight, sooo happy, better the OK

Service is service you place your order and your given a time to p up you meal .

It seems this restaurant has a hard time with time , I sat and waited for well over a hour waiting for my dinner to be ready , restaurant is poorly managed.

10 more minutes and 10 minutes would pass oh did you order yes I said you said 10 more minutes, waiting a hour with no explanation is very poor service .

I ended up walking out and getting my dinner at another restaurant.

The Okay Restaurant is not OKAY .

I am continuously having an issue with them messing orders up I order a chicken lo mein to find out that they put no chicken in it. It was 830 at night when they close at 9 o’clock. I called five minutes after 8:30 to find out. They closed early so I called on regular business hours for them to tell me that apparently they did make it correctly and then argue with me. Service is absolute garbage.

They advertised false prices online and tried to charge us almost double when we came to pick it up. And then said there was nothing they could do. Really? You can't update their online menus and prices? You couldn't give it to us for the advertised amount?!

If I could , I would give 0 star
This is THE WORST resturant ever. ALL YOU CAN EAT but the food will not ready for all you want. Fish , Salmon Sashimi will run out very quickly. Don't waste your time and money here. NOT WORTH IT. Won't come back again. Fist and last time.
