This place only accepts cash…would be nice to mention that on here. Headed there not knowing it’s cash only I wanted to have my lunch as I was travelling back to Toronto. Lady refused to serve me because I was short 1$.Never left so bad. I understand that a small business does not have lots of profit margin but not even 1$. That’s awful. I am only upset because I was very hungry and wanted to eat something.

Purchased the greek burger- the patty itself was relatively small, especially considering the price- flavour was okay, nothing to go back forFries- were quite good- the portion was decent as well for a smallThe parking was quite bad, however there is paid public parking across the street and then limited parking on the property. Along with parking for other business beside the restaurantThey only accept cash and the service seemed very cold and uninterestedThey had about three tables to sit atAll in all, knowing there are various burger shops in the area, I would try another location before coming back here for the fries and maybe another type of burger

This place was recommended to me by a friend and it did not disappoint. The burgers were very tasty and my son loved the secret sauce on them. And the poutine was great, my son got the bacon poutine and it was loaded with bacon he was in heaven

Absolute best chip truck in the Kawartha! I've been going here for over 10 years and have never left with a complaint. Their fries and poutine are my favourite! In past years they did a delicious cherry slushie that I loved to get every chance I could. If you haven't tried it yet, definitely worth a stop. Close to the locks/water/picnic area. Easy parking and amazing friendly owners!

Have tried to go get food from the Tastee Shack twice in the last two week each time they have been closed when the Google search has said they are open. I realize I shouldn't trust Google for hours of places but maybe change your hours of operation on Google or post a picture of your hours so people actually don't waste time and money going to the other side of town just to have to drive back for something else. Lost $28 and a good review. Loved this place when I tried it a couple times. Not going to make and $$$ if your never open. Gave a 2 star bc the food was good when I could actually buy some. Please post your actual hours!
