We often travel through Listowel and are always looking for a new place to try out.
Hot dog was way overcooked...hot dog bun was hard and dry,we ordered gravy for our fries...virtually none....my burger was good

Had a delicious mushroom and cheese omelet. Really lovely to support a local family restaurant

Food is good but prices are ridiculous. They wanted 5.95 for onions on my hot hamburger. I chose to tip instead. Next time I'll choose the onions instead.
The service was friendly and good. The food was good.

Worst service ever, waitress was busy talking to a customer rather than seing if people wanted a top up, eggs sunny side up almost solid yolk, potatoes cold have been chips , overly done, will never come here again, giving it 1 star because I can't go minus on the stars,

Food was great as usual
Classic diner,
Good service great food! As we decided to sit at window seat someone was sent out side to clean the window with soap and water and squeegee! I had a chocolate milk shake that was super think and delicious! And a classic bacon and grill cheese sandwich, fries and coleslaw! Yum !
Overpriced poor quality food misable server sad to say won't return unfortunately I love supporting small independents

First of all, I’m all for supporting a local business. But it has to be good . And In this case it was not . Let me tell you my experience. I haven’t been to roadhouse 23 since I was a kid. My boyfriend and I decided to give it a go for dinner. I ordered cordon bleu which came with lovely Minute Maid rice (sarcasm) along with canned, cold freezer burnt pees. After waiting nearly 45 minutes for our food I expected more than that . Not to mention the waitress never asked if we’d like a refill on our sodas and just slipped past grabbed our drinks without a word and left and brought us back water. This whole running past our table as fast as possible avoiding being stopped continued the whole visit. Oh also quality processed cheese on my boyfriends burger . This place needs a major redo on service , decor , and food . Won’t be back .
Great little friendly diner. It's definitely a local favorite and meeting place

Good food with large portions. We enjoy their home style cooking for breakfast or lunch. Gor those that like liver, theirs is cooked perfectly

1st time eating at this diner and it was just okay for supper. However, it was nicely decorated for Halloween coming up.
My Fish and Chips was nothing to get excited about. Not a big piece of haddock. Fries were home made but dry and tasteless. Could tell it was late in the day for our meal. I see another previous person's picture here in the reviews looks way better than what I had. I didn't get a bun with my meal. However, there were two choices of Fish and Chips on the menu and I forget what the difference was but the one I choose was haddock. My husband had Steak and Eggs and he stated it was just average and not that exciting either. Our son had the pancake and it was a good size at least. Probably won't ever be back as we were just passing through Listowel on a car drive.

Food was really good. Service was perfect.
Can't beat the pricing on most items.
I had the chicken stir-fry. It was really good, I personally wasn't crazy about the sauce they used but I'm sure 90% of the people who order it will be happy.
The sauce was good I didn't think it went with the dish. It was more like a teriyaki sauce
