1st time eating at this diner and it was just okay for supper. However, it was nicely decorated for Halloween coming up. My Fish and Chips was nothing to get excited about. Not a big piece of haddock. Fries were home made but dry and tasteless. Could tell it was late in the day for our meal. I see another previous person's picture here in the reviews looks way better than what I had. I didn't get a bun with my meal. However, there were two choices of Fish and Chips on the menu and I forget what the difference was but the one I choose was haddock. My husband had Steak and Eggs and he stated it was just average and not that exciting either. Our son had the pancake and it was a good size at least. Probably won't ever be back as we were just passing through Listowel on a car drive.

I had the chicken stir-fry. It was really good, I personally wasn't crazy about the sauce they used but I'm sure 90% of the people who order it will be happy.
The sauce was good I didn't think it went with the dish. It was more like a teriyaki sauce

During our lunch, we were met by two waitresses who were very rude and had a very bad attitude. They weren’t rude to us necessarily but we’re very rude to an elderly lady and her daughter. The elderly lady walked in and had trouble walking and wanted to be seated very close to the door so she didn’t have to walk. The one waitress, red hair, when they asked to be seated there was very rude and immediately said no because it was not clean. The daughter of the elderly lady asked if it could be clean as her mother could not walk very far, and the red head waitress very rudely said no and to sit at another table and when the daughter said the mother couldn’t walk very far she still said no and rushed them into a table. The food was cold and very dry. Overall not a good experience at all. Will never be coming back.

Compliments to the chief I had the turkey meal the turkey was moist stuffing yummy gravy was good ..my husband had the roast beef meal again excellent 👌👍👍...as for the red hair waitress not so good 👎👎

Excellent food, fair prices and good service every time we visit
I ordered a grilled cheese and fries and the fries were cold and gross no flavour and I also ordered the strawberry milkshake and it tasted horrible would not recommend 2 stars

I ordered the Cordon Bleu. Sorry to say, not happy. The Cordon Bleu was store bought. The vegetables were frozen and the potatoes I believe were powdered potatoes. I can not see a Certified Chef serving this type of meal.

We had our dinner here tonight. The Special was 'liver and onions' and it was cooked to perfection! Tender and moist, just the way I wanted it!! My wife had the 'homemade fish and chips' and was equally pleased with her meal. Everything was made in-house, the cost was about $35, and all-in-all darn good value. Our server and the cook were both quite personable.
