This past visit was terrible. Food was horrible and so over priced. I've been there before and food/prices were great. Not this time, fries were actually so over cooked they were dark brown and crisp..like no potato left, just over cooked grease was what we were served, the gravy didn't even help. When the bill came it was $90 for 2 lunches, club sandwich and a meatball sandwich, 2 Cokes and 2 apps. I still can't believe I paid that! Never again...never ever again.

Four of us sat down to eat lunch. We each ordered a burger, a veggie burger, a meatball sub and chicken strips.Those were mostly good. The meatball sub came on a hotdog bun with nnosauce. Very dry.Every meal came with fries. The fries were still raw. When we complained about the fries, she offered to get us fresh ones but we didn't have time. So she gave us a pitiful 10% off our bill. The fries were half of the meal. 10% was definitely not enough!We won't be returning.
Vegetarian options: There are salads on the menu.
Kid-friendliness: The waitress assured us there's a kids menu but it wasn't printed out yet.They had no milk, no chocolate milk. The only thing available was pop.

By no means was this place busy at all yet it took way too long to receive my food.. I attempted to order ahead of the others as they were in their own group despite me knowing them so I waited.I ordered the 10 pin burger with a poutine.I received fries instead and I wasn't waiting another who knows how long for them to fix their mistake.. The fries were alright, the patties are ridiculously huge so I had to take one off to actually eat it.. the tomato was somehow half frozen, and the meat itself was unflavoured and boring to thr taste.I also ordered lemon water no ice as it hurts my teethI got ice and she delivered my water to the other tableOverall the service wasn't great, the food wasn't greatThis place is great for playing cheap pool but that's about it

Went in on a Wednesday night, just before 5pm, not busy at all. We were a family of 5 and asked if an hour would be enough time, waitress advised that it should be fine. Took 50 minutes for our food to hit the table - chicken fingers/fries, burger/fries, 2x pesto chicken sandwiches/fries and a veggie wrap/fries. No substiutions or such to explain the delay. When the food arrived, I asked for take out containers immediately as we had to go. Plan was to eat the mains and take the fries with us. All of the fries had been double cooked so I wonder if they forgot an order and tried to reheat them when it was done? Wasn't great. Buger was good. I wish I took a photo of by chicken sandwich, half of it was missing chicken. I put both pieces on one side which made half a sandwich, honestly. Veggie wrap was oily and would have been much better with a falafal add in option.Service was slow, main were ok, fries were not good, waitress was lovely. It was super stressful and rushed at the end.I will try again of course but the reviews lately seem to mirror the slow cook time for subpar and smaller portions making it not worth the wait.

Gave this place two trys. Often dont have what's on the menu(no veggie burger or large wraps for meals) and fries tasted stale. Won't be going back.

The service was slow. You used to get wings and fries for $19 and now you only get 7 wings for $19. Complete rip off for the amount of food you get. They used shredded orange cheddar instead of cheese curds for the poutine and they doused it in gravy without a lot of fries. Poor meal quality for the absurd price.

My wife and I came here for dinner tonight. We were able to get a table right away, and got greeted within a couple minutes. It took about 5 minutes to get our drinks and place our meal order… unfortunately it all went downhill after that.While busy, it was by no means full. After 35 minutes part of our meal finally arrived - unfortunately, it was incomplete. My wife asked for a takeout container to pack up the other portion (as I had to leave to make it to work on time). Her clubhouse has arrived without fries, and the clubhouse itself was underwhelming. The bread was cold and barely toasted.20 minutes later, my wife was still waiting for the takeout container as well as my meal which had not been delivered, along with her fries. At no point did our waitress return to offer drink refills.After being there for over an hour and never receiving either meal in its completeness, my wife went up to the bar to discuss the issues with the waitress, who stated someone else was supposed to deliver the rest of the food. While the waitress was polite, the overall service was poor.We did not end up paying for anything as my wife had less than half of her clubhouse and a pop, and I never did receive my meal.Sincerely hoping this was a one-off experience as we had read and heard great things. Unfortunately we are reluctant to return again based on tonight.

Waited over an hour for our food on a Saturday at 1pm in the afternoon when it was not busy. One order was the special of the day and the other was a bacon cheese burger. The burger was over cooked, dry and charred and didn’t even take up the bun, with cheese and bacon it was an $18 burger. Absurd price point for what you get considering it’s also an extra $4 for a side Caesar salad with cheap dressing. Their hoggie had two pieces of thinly sliced deli style roast beef on it, forgot gravy and the portions for the main and sides were really small for what you pay for.Overall not a great experience at Alley Katz and won’t be returning in the future.
