Absolutely amazing experience! Chef Henrie Bistro & Cafe is a true hidden gem in MacTier. The food was incredibly fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented — you can really taste the love in every dish. The cozy atmosphere and warm hospitality made us feel right at home. Whether you’re stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or just a good coffee, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended and definitely worth the drive!

Decided to head into Mactier yesterday for a bite to eat. We lucked out with our pick at this restaurant. We decided to have the Schnitzel deluxe sandwich. Absolutely tasty They made us a fresh pot of coffee too. The staff was so friendly and professional They made sure that we were well taken care of. The restrooms were clean and modern. Ample parking We definitely will be back when we're back this way.

Call before you go!! Do not trust their website, social media or even their answering machine. They will tell you their open at 11am only for you to drive almost an hour and get told they don't open until later the afternoon because of a catering event. For a business that is active on social media and fairly remote, this is just inconsiderate.
