What a great afternoon. We've been looking for a menu like this for a while here in Muskoka. I'm of German background and grew up on food like this. The veal was over the top. The serving is big so we'll be enjoying it again. Don't forget to try their deserts even if you're full, just take it home and enjoy there. I know we'll be going back soon. They have other dishes on the menu also foods I grew up. There foods are made in house with imported ingredients...
I don't know where to start! From the moment we walked in, it felt like home. It was packed, and we didn't have a reservation, but Chef Henrie's mom asked if we'd mind sitting at the bar, and honestly, it was the best spot in the house. We had a front-row seat to watch everyone working together. Franz, your beer pouring totally mesmerized me! Chef Henrie, we didn't get to meet you tonight, but your food is out of this world! What an amazing dinner, so...
We had the best time! We didn’t have a reservation and instead of turning us away they offered to seat us at the bar. We had the opportunity to speak with the chef’s father who was working the bar while we ate. We ordered the Wiener schnitzel with spatzle, and it was unbelievably good. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant and I can’t wait to go back!
