We were there new years eve. What a regret. Such a bad experience. The food was not good at all very bland no taste. The pizzas were so horrible everything splashed on top not cooked, the veal tasted like rubber you couldn't cut it so tough and the calamari were saugy. We waited to get seated and there were not many people when we arrived. The wait staff were rude and looked like they didn't care nor wanted to be there. We had asked drinks and waited and waited until they finally brought it. On top of this we waited 2 hours to eat totally unacceptable and it ruined our evening. We'll never ever go there again

We were there and I wrote the review as a guest attending new years eve. I never said I reserved anything as I was an invited guest of the party that attended. Stop making excuses and deal with these reviews as a professional. It was a horrible experience and we'll not be coming again

I'm sorry you can't admit your restaurants faults. As I said before be professional and address your customers issues and stop hiding behind saying there fake reviews because they are not It is real

I have looked at your reviews and when you get bad reviews you always say there fake lol. You need to grow up and act like a professional and service your customers like we deserve to be treated.dont forget without us you have no business to open

This place is hands down the best hidden gem in Ontario for authentic Italian food that tastes exactly like nonna or momma used to make it if not better 😋 thank you to the amazing waiters that were very spot on for our large party of about 40 people 👌 can't wait to come back for more amazing food.

Absolutely amazing!

I visited Anna & Lucio’s Trattoria today for lunch with some friends, and everything was exceptional from start to finish. We enjoyed the Orecchiette Alla Paesana, Gnocchi Alla Aaliyah, and Pizza Alla Paesana, all paired perfectly with an incredible bottle of red wine.

The service and atmosphere were warm and welcoming, and we even had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, who shared her family’s story and how this wonderful restaurant came to be.

So many places claim to serve authentic Italian cuisine, but I can assure you Anna & Lucio’s Trattoria is the real deal. We’ll definitely be back soon — and next time, I’m bringing my whole family!

Was searching for an Italian restaurant for our last minute weekend family Thanksgiving dinner, and my sister told me about this place, she had eaten here before, and recommended it, WOW, everyone of us were so impressed with the food, and reasonable prices considering the quality of it, the service was amazing as well, this is a true hidden gem in Vaughan for authentic Italian cuisine, will definitely return in the future.

First time attending Anna and Lucio’s with family and would HIGHLY recommend and will definitely be coming back!!! From the atmosphere to the service and food it was phenomenal. The photos are the Calamari to start, amazing not to salty, very flavourful. The special was straciatella with spinach and tortellini. Amazing soup and the portion was filling for an appetizer I was quite shocked. They also gave us 2 servings of bread (which many places do not do that). For the mains we had the mushroom risotto, very rich, flavourful and creamy perfect amount of seasoning. Not too watery like most places. The veal chop with a SIDE of penne alla vodka was mouthwatering and cooked to perfection. I wanted to try 2 different dishes so they accommodated for me to get 2 different pastas (shows in photo 4) for the price of one dish. The handmade gnocchi with meat sauce was amazing and full of flavour and my second choice was the penne alla vodka and I was very happy and satisfied with my choice. I have never been to a place where I could get 2 great portioned and flavourful dishes for the price of one!!! The veal Parmesan and penne à la vodka was to die for and was cooked perfectly not full of fat like some other places that I have been toO!! The tiramisu dessert was amazing along with the pistachio, lemon and tarrone was very light, yummy and sweet!! The service was amazing. The accommodations that we were able to make along with the portion size sizes is very rare to find and made the experience 100% better. I would for sure recommend doing a party or coming here for special occasions or just something casual!!!

Anna & Lucio's is our go-to spot for authentic Italian cuisine - amazing atmosphere, delicious food and great service. We catered from Anna Lucio's for our Engagement Party and I also had my Bridal Shower here. Tanya is amazing, as always. 10/10 recommend!

I love this restaurant! It is out of this world southern Italian cooking! The food they make is very similar to how my grandmother would make food because they were from the same area! The food is flavourful, the staff are welcoming and feels like your home for a family dinner! Certain nights they have live music and entertainment! It is really fun and enjoyable!
