Firehouse Subs Major Mackenzie Maple

I’m an Uber driver and came here to pick up an order. I was told it would be ready in 5 minutes, waited almost 40 minutes, then was told again “5–10 more minutes.” There was no honest communication about the actual wait time. Delivery drivers’ time matters — if you’re busy, just say so. Very disappointing experience.

This location promotes a $5 hat trick brisket deal that’s “online orders only”. To my surprise, the POS System for online orders is conveniently shut off the one day that the promotion can be redeemed. Meaning that no one can actually redeem the offer.

I went into the location to see if they would honour the deal in person, as their online ordering was turned off. The employees would not honour the deal. As this is an issue on their end, the deal should be honoured in person, rather than turning customers away.

I’ve ordered from this location before, and it always takes 30+ minutes to prepare my order. Have never really had a good experience here.

Dishonest business practices. This store advertised a $5 hat trick brisket deal for online orders, then the owner intentionally disabled online ordering so customers couldn’t actually place their order and they refused to honour the promotion in person.

That’s not a “technical issue” — that’s misleading customers on purpose. If you have to block orders to avoid honouring a promotion, you shouldn’t be advertising it at all.

Complete waste of time and zero respect for customers. Won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

This feels like a deliberate tactic to advertise a deal while preventing people from redeeming it. If you don’t want to honor the promotion, don’t advertise it.

Wasted my time coming here expecting a valid offer, only to find out it’s essentially blocked by the owner. Not a good way to treat customers.

We were extremely disappointed with our experience today. We saw that Firehouse is now selling fries so we excitedly ordered that with our sub. We got the large fries then got the upgrade to make it a combo. As seen in the picture THAT is the amount of fries you receive for 5.99 plus tax. We paid an extra 3.50 on top of that for the combo upgrade and ended up only getting a regular sized drink cup anyways as well. For paying basically 30$ for one sub and 21 individual fries (if you can even count the quarter sized fries as a full one) I can guarantee we won't be recommending firehouse subs to anyone again.

Way small portion of fries, asked to see standardized portions and for a bit more bc portions felt so small.

Showed me the bin, fries would clearly not fill containers and refused to make the difference with a few more pieces. Mind you this is a Large fries which cost 6$ +3.50 for combo.
