Rude, unprofessional and has a major attitude problem. Not only that, but they say they make Italian pastries??!!!! Being Italian, I tried them. Shouldn't be labelled Italian!
We bought an almond cake and it was unedible. Smells artificial and tastes awful. We wanted to return it, but they refused and we were treated with no respect. We are not coming back but I don't think the owner and the staff care. A friend already told us that this bakery sucks, and we should have listened. And now we experienced it too.
Amazing Cannolis!
Best Lobster tail / sfogliatella around

Confused who should serve me
The ladies working there are very accomodating.the pastries are delicious and fresh as is the bread. Coffees were great.
I got recommended to this bakery normally I go to st.Phillips. The girls weren’t really welcoming. I asked for recommendations, she barely answered me. The desserts were ok.
Rude unprofessional and unkind staff. Would not recommend supporting this business. Not surprised reading all the other negative reviews about the people working here.
Great tasting and customer service !

This place has gone downhill. As a resident of Maple for over 30 years I have the right to say this. I did email management with no response. I didn’t expect anything less based on what i have seen over the years. I went to pick up a donut cake Christmas eve ( I had ordered over a week in advance so there should not be any excuses if they can’t handle multi orders ). When they opened the box I could not believe what I was seeing . There was zero effort put in to this. You could barely read what was said … chocolate was missing on the donut …The tray had chocolate on it ( I covered up the writing for privacy reasons but you probably could not read it anyway even if i did ) And as you can see , not one little effort to put some icing on, a dot, a tree, a poinsettia …. anything to bring some life into this creation that looks like a JK student made. When i asked her “ wow ? this is not acceptable , can you put something on this to cover up the missing chocolate ? Can you stick anything on here to make it look half decent ? The response was “ no the baker is not here “. Hold on so there are about 20 of you working and not person can stick a red, green, white dots on this thing ? Anything ?
This is my first time @ Maple Bakery. Employees distracted doing several orders when we arrived (waited at least 30 min). Told to wait, but only wanted a few donuts. Didn’t accommodate much. Overall not great customer service..

I ordered A large meat lasagna for my granddaughter’s first birthday party. This was the first time I’ve ever been to Maple bakery as I live in Toronto, the lasagna came highly recommended by two good friends so I thought I’d give it a try. When I picked up the lasagna, It was in a pizza box so the depth of the lasagna was quite small. Nevertheless, it was warm and freshly made that morning. Upon serving the lasagna Several hours later, I discovered That there is no cheese, not 1 ounce. Very disappointed and so we’re all the guests. I called the very next day , asking if the meat lasagna has cheese in it, and they asked me to call the next day after that. when I called on Monday morning they told me to call the next day. I then asked them to call me as two attempts were enough. On Tuesday no one called so I finally called them. They were very nice. Heard my story and said that she would talk to the owner and get back to me first thing Wednesday morning on Wednesday morning. She called me and apologized and stated it was an oversight and they would refund me the money. On Thursday I drove to Maple to pick up the refund and they only offered me $130 but the total was 146. I asked why wasn’t I getting the full refund? She then had to go speak to someone returned and asked if I had a picture of the lasagna, I showed her a picture of my one year-old granddaughter with some lasagna in her plate. She then showed my picture to someone in the back room, returned and said they’re with withholding the taxes as the lasagna did Get eaten. I wanted to give a positive review as I feel they admitted to their mistake. The fact that they did not want to refund me the full amount is the reason I will never step foot in that bakery again and I will definitely be telling my friends the experience I went through.
