I had an absolute horrible experience which has left me thoroughly discouraged from ever spending money at this particular OPA.

We did an online order, ready for pickup for 1pm.
We arrived 12:55pm, my husband went in grabbed the food and came back out. I checked the food to be sure it was correct.

First, the calamari ( which isn’t cheap) was ice cold and rubbery. Not edible.

My husband’s potatoes, cold. Our wraps, cold.

When you spend $50 you expect to be able to eat the food.

So, he takes the food back inside and the woman rudely says the calamari is warm and that she just made the food 5 mins before we arrived then changed it to 10 mins before, both times were clearly lies. She with complete ignorance says she’ll only remake the calamari.

I went in and said, absolutely not, the entire meal is cold. She says, they have a window of 15 mins either way to have the food ready. I asked her to explain that rule as it makes no sense? If I wanted my food ready at 1245 I would order it for then, but if I was planning on coming at 1pm then I’d be expecting hot food. She was completely ignorant and I just said I want all the food re made at the cost of this meal I want to eat it.

She absolutely did not appreciate this, which is odd since there was not one other customer in the store. She was slamming stuff around, giving dirty looks, just everything an ignorant person would do.

She remade everything but overcooked the calamari which I’m sure was on purpose. The experience was so disheartening that a business owner would not take their franchise serious and try to accommodate their employees lack of empathy. I say this because I submitted one of those “tell us how we did” things they email you, and the owner responded with an apology but that’s all, leading me to believe it was insincere.

Anyway, I thought I’d leave a review here and I will be also emailing OPA head office and maybe get a sincere apology.

Ordered the pita with falafel on UberEats, and I was not impressed with how little the portion size was.

I didn't order too many ingredients, but they hardly filled it (and a good chunk of the already small meal was just bread).

Was not worth it... and I think I'm done ordering from this place in the future.

I advise you to avoid and go elsewhere.

I only came once to this location and was hugely disappointed. Every OPA! restaurant in GTA has large portions of meat, potatoes, rice, calamari, salad and extras. You always expect the same size meal at any location. Here, my calamari were in a child-size-tasting carton that fits in your palm, calamari were overfried, dry, brown-there was nothing to eat. Chicken: i expected nice chunks of meat on a normal size pin. Here skewer was, again, tasting size, miniature, small even for a child! Salad was not a salad-it was a chunk of leaves ends, not leafy green part, no other staple ingredients. Since i had to pay before food was prepared, i could not return what i saw. Will NEVER go back. I am pretty sure the rest of the menu is exact same size and quality.

Good food, good staff.

Ordered a gyro, paid $12.00, dry yesterdays meat, , 2 pieces of over cooked cardboard. Just terrible

Low rating doesn't surprise me. I should of not came in but company wanted this. Not friendly at all! Also didn't tell me where cuterly was. Won't be going there again

What I saw did not reflect the Greek food, service and hospitality for which we are famous.

Ordered online for pick up and take out. I live literally a 5 min drive from this location. By the time I got home and my wife and I started to eat (immediately after getting home), the Souvlaki wasn't hot. It was warm but not hot. Greek salad had no lettuce. It is just cut-up pieces of cucumber and tomato and a few green peppers. That's not a greek salad. That's cut-up vegetables!
I was not given any potatoes in my chicken Souvlaki platter because they were not fully cooked.
The lady working there was about to put them into my platter, then decided not to because she realized they were still hard. She compensated by giving me extra rice for the lack of potatoes.
Pre-made food (salad) is not how you run a business when you're in the food service industry.
I wanted my wife's salad with the dressing on the side and no onions because she is allergic to onions.
I was told that the salad is already made with dressing and all the ingredients, so they can't give me one without onions.
The worker went into the fridge and gave me the pre-made "salad" that wasn't dressed with dressing yet. But she still gave me onions because it's all pre-made and mixed together.
When I got the food home, my wife had to pick out each individual onion piece from her salad because if she eats onion, she will go into shock!
Very poor food quality and customer service at this location. I will not be returning and will never recommend anybody ever go here. Save yourself the headache!

Had a wonderful meal at Opa of Greece! The staff was super friendly, and the food tasted really fresh and authentic. Loved the cozy atmosphere—it felt like a little slice of Greece.

The food is overpriced, the portions are very small, and it’s mostly just vegetables. Feels like a vegetarian meal. Not worth it, won’t be coming back.
