“Tried this little pasta takeout spot the other day — flavor-wise, it was kinda unique, I’ll give them that. The pasta itself though… a bit on the al dente-but-maybe-too-dente side. And I wish they were a little more generous with the sauce — it felt like it stopped halfway through the bowl.

I got it as takeout, and for a quick meal, it’s honestly not bad. Not mind-blowing, but decent enough. The price? Around $17 for a pasta — not exactly cheap, but not outrageous either. Let’s call it average for a takeout joint in the city.

The shop is tiny — there are a few seats inside, but it’s definitely more of a grab-and-go type of place than somewhere you’d hang out with friends over a long dinner. Think “efficient bite, then bounce.”

All in all, I’d give it a solid 3.5 out of 5. Might come back to try a different sauce and see if it changes the game. Worth giving it one more shot!“

“I grew up going to National Noodles when they were in North York. I have never been disappointed. Excellent quality fresh pasta at reasonable price. They cut the sheets of lassagna so it fits my tray perfectly. You have to try the stuffed pasta-it is amazing, my kids all time favorite.“

“We came all the way from downtown Toronto and discovered this place by accident. We had such a wonderful experience. Alessia was so welcoming and helpful to us. She was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the pasta and we formed an instant connection. She always makes us feel so welcome. We have been coming back ever since.“

“Have been a customer for decades. The best homemade authentic Italian sauces and pastas in the city and a great selection of fresh and frozen and different sizes. Now also a good selection of dairy free options. Bring cheques or cash as no debit or credit options. The owner and staff are lovely. Prices have increased since Covid but then again they have everywhere!“

“Amazing food and great service! We had the veal parm for dinner with the mushroom ravioli and both were incredible and full of flavour. Best pasta around!! I’ve also tried the butter chicken ravioli (it’s like Buffalo chicken) and it’s incredible. We made it with a blue cheese cream sauce and WOW. The lamb spaducci is unmatched. The roasted red pepper cannelloni is hands down the best cannelloni I’ve ever had. The sacketti’s are delicious too. I can’t say enough good things about this food. I’ll be back to stock up as soon as I can“

“Yum!!!! Really great pasta!I was looking for a place close to work that had fresh pasta - and I could take home for dinners. A bit of googling and I found freshpasta.ca (a store). I bought a whole lot of different things; spaghetti, fettuccini, a bunch of stuffed pasta and some sauce.Tonight I tried the fettuccini. It was great!! I can hardly wait to try something else that’s now in my fridge.This non-descript place was run by a really friendly guy named Rick. Rick, who seems to have pasta in his blood, told me he that he just took over this place - which has been serving pasta for a long time.He’s got exciting plans to expand the store.
