Celebrated my wife's birthday at Sorrento north in Maple over the weekend. Nino and staff were incredibly detailed. Took the extra time to meet ahead to plan the menu options. From the hand made Ravioli to the perfectly cooked rack of lamb. Best Italian Restaurant in the city.

Sorrento North is a hidden gem just at the edge of Maple, ON. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and accommodating with our dietary requirements. The wait staff were very knowledge with the menu and knew how the dishes are made. The food was wonderful - the gnocchi and the eggplant parmigiana are a must try. Be sure to make reservations as it can be busy.

Terrible service,Not only that i was waiting for the food for one hour and a half , they also brought the Ganochi and it was over cooked was breaking when i was picking one piece on the fork .Very disappointed, they didn't even apologize for the bad service and terrible food.

If you appreciate authentic italian food- this is the place to go! Being Italian myself, there are few and far between restaurant options that compare to the cooking I've grown up with - then we found Sorrento's! Excellent- if you know what real italian food is and tastes like- you'll definitely appreciate this place!

We have had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant a few times and have been nothing short of amazed every time. Upon entering, we were greeted by very hospitable staff. All of the menu items are delicious and it’s hard to pick just one. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable and had great recommendations about the menus and specials that evening.I would highly recommend this restaurant to my family and friends. An absolute must if someone is visiting the city.

The ambiance of this place is very classy, and the waiters were extremely friendly and attentive to our table. I ordered the Spaghetti Nerano ($20,00) and the zucchini pieces on the spaghetti were OUT OF THIS WORLD! It was the best deep fried zucchini I've tried and it paired super well with the creamy sauce on the spaghetti. Definitely a good option for my vegetarian friends out here. We also tried the calamari and prosciutto/cheese platter - the calamari was a little salty, but the platter was perfect. I would definitely come back to satisfy my pasta cravings.
