Sadly, businesses do not value customers anymore. We purchased Bagel sandwiches along with these treats. I believe they’re almost a dollar each - there were six of them. The one we tried was so stale. It must’ve been there for at least a week. Why are you even selling this to people? Why don’t you have a sticker on there to see when it was even made? That is entitlement at its finest.

Tuna on a bagel, lettuce, cucumber, tomato and lots and lots of red onions is what I recommend. Don't forget the cherry strudel too!

This place is bad. The employees are not Jewish and do not understand Jewish food, Jewish holidays and traditions. This afternoon my wife came in to buy 6 sufganiyot for Hanukkah. A male worker behind the counter used a smaller box and stacked the sufganiyot sideways, squishing them together and making the jelly come out of the small holes. The sugar powder started falling off of them immediately. On top of that, the box was not assembled properly and was falling apart. When my wife complained about it and told him to change everything, instead of apologizing, he started getting angry and giving my wife an attitude. He got the proper bigger box, angrily put it on top of the smaller box, which made the bottom of the new box stained with jelly and then packed the new batch of sufganiyot. When my wife got to the checkout, her hands were stained and sticky from the jelly on the bottom of the box. She told the cashier about it, but was told the male employee did nothing wrong and was told to pack it like that. We will never return to this location and we will tell all our friends who live in the area to avoid it. The location on Bathurst north of Elgin Mills is much better.

Today is a First Day of Hanukkah. I came for sufganiyot. It was packed.
The sufganiyot were accessible and organized to be served fast. The person just put 6 pc quickly in to a small box no matter how they are packed, squeezed in to the box. Lol
I asked to give me in bigger box , flat , where all of them not squeezed and tops are white.
Then the mess has started....he mounted new box on top of my sufganiyots he off from small box, the button of the new box was in jam and sugar powder, the cashier is doing her stuff, she told me he was right, he was told to squeeze AS IS to small boxes.

People! Are you really want our money for doing rude service!
I spent $ 26 and the feeling was I paid to wrong business.

Overall, this location of What A Bagel was decent. The food was delicious, the coffee was flavourful and the service was pleasant. However this place feels crowded. Good for business but it makes the experience a little soured.

l ordered Chicken Schintzel from the menu as it reads; “Schnitzel, hummus, middle eastern salad & pickles on a challah bun.” for take out.
When l took the it home, l noticed it is on the toast not challah bun. l often ordered the same thing. l called the store and told them, they asked the chef and then l was told because it was toasted, l might have not tell the difference. Here they questioned customer’s ability to tell the difference between two types of bread, challah bun and toast. l called back, this time l was told there is challah bun and bread. Challah is a traditional jewish braided bread, not a toast. This happens when people sells jewish food have no idea of the food. So ironic. I leave the post here from the order and what they have on their menu and the challah bread for people to see the difference and for the chef and rest of the staff in the store not to give bull crap answers to the customers.

If you’re looking for an amazing spot for breakfast or lunch, look no further than this location of what a bagel! I have been coming here for many many years and every time I am reminded of why I love it so much! Not only are the food products amazing and a great menu with lots of options, but the staff and the servers are elite! Despite how busy they are, you are always met with a smile and great service! And if you can’t sit down for a meal, their bakery is phenomenal for taking things home. The products are fresh as can be and delicious! The owner should be very proud of this location, he has done an incredible job! I truly can’t say how much our family loves it and looks forward to our outings here!

This place has ruined me for other bagels. It is SO worth the 45 minute (each way) bus trip.
The garlic cream cheese is divine.

First time at this place. We walked in and waited to be seated outside where there were several available tables. A girl told us to go out so we did. The guy outside started yelling at us “who told you to come outside”. We said the girl inside did. Instead of changing his tone and apologizing for his terrible reaction he was still yelling that she shouldn’t have told us. We left and will never come back.
